Is their any way to output the voice prompts from google navigation to my normal bluetooth handsfree? It works fine for phone calls, but id like it to cut the music and prompt me for turns etc.

I'm having difficulty with my Bluetooth connection to the in car handsfree kit. Xperia X10 and Sony Ericsson HCB-700. Whilst I can receive calls, the phone book is unaccessible.

Fired it up and there still isn't a way to voice dial over Bluetooth? This is nuts! I am getting rid of this piece of crap! I am done unless I am missing something.

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen the X10 attached to a wire handsfree, the alert notification from the stock calendar, gmail, alarm clock etc would come though the handsfree and not the phone speaker itself. Is there anyway to stop this happening as I want the notification to come though the phone speaker. Or is this the bug of X10 that SE needs to sort out?? Is there any app on market that can make sure the alert notification comes through in the phone speaker, not via handsfree speaker when a wired handsfree attached to X10.

I try to shut down the phone to charge it but it keeps re-starting itself. I plug it in, power the phone down and it restarts. Same when I plug it in when it is already off. Is this normal?

View 13 Replies View RelatedIf I use the built in FM-radio with the x10 mini pro headset, with the FM-radio turned on, the radio stops when a call comes in. The button to take the call doesn't respond however. Is this normal behavior? It does work with music.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just purchased the X10 handset and on a whole I'm really pleased with it. My previous handset was an N97 - rubbish! Anyway, since playing with the phone, could you answer these for me as I'm new to Android and don't really know what I'm doing.
1) On the mentu's, text screen, etc. It has a blue background and white writing. Is there anyway to change this? I have an eye condition and blue isn't the best colour for me to read from. I was looking for something like theme settings but there isn't one.
2) Is there a keyboard application that is like the normal alphanumeric layout on phone keypads ie to get the letter b you press the number 2 twice. I believe the HTC Desire has this option and old Nokia N97 that the feature.
3) I've read on another thread about the ringing volume and earpiece volume being low and turning up the volume to max makes the earpiece sounds quality pop/crackle. I've experienced this too but does anyone know if there is a firmware update out to rectify this?
4) I've also read that Android 2.1 is due out for this handset. Does anyone know when it's out, or if it is already out, where do I download it from?
I am trying to find out how to get Maps Navigation, saying it has been released in the UK for Android phones 1.6 and above, which I think the Sony Xperia X10 is? how I can get Maps Navigation?
