Mar 31, 2010I'd like a bluetooth handsfree set that has an easy charging solution (doesn't need to carry a bulky charger with me), good sound and easy to wear. I'd take suggestions to both for music use (both ears) and phone use.had a jawbone-handsfree set before, but it was a victim of small size and crowded apartment. been two years, and yet to find it.

Mar 24, 2014I got a simple handsfree bluetooth carkit, wich works as a simple bt headset, transfers call audio to car speakers and nothin more, doesnt sync messages nor contacts, just a simple pair&go.
I had a sonyericson x-10 mini pro with android 2.1 that worked just fine, recently i've aquired a bq aquaris 5hd with jelly bean 4.2.1, and i cant get bluetooth to stay connected.
what happens is, i pair the two devices just fine, but then, they just remain connected for some secs and then connection is disabled, rendering the handsfee kits useless. i reconnect, after some secs it disconnects again. been reading on internet and it seems its a common problem with JB 4.2.1, these bluetooth issues.
Android :: Cupcake Bluetooth Handsfree Errors
Mar 20, 2009I meet some problem while using cupcake bluetooth handsfree.
1. Phone only can pair with pin "0000" BT headset automatically, but never pair succeed with headset with pin "1234" (never prompt pin code dialog for input?)
2. Connecting BT headset always fail if the BT headset only suport HFP/ HSP profile(on A2DP). Any one familiar it?

Apr 19, 2010I've had my Tatto for a couple of days and wanted to pair it with my bluetooth headset for driving. The headset is quite new, but has no makers ref on it so can't find out what it's setting are, but when its on and the Tattoo is scanning, it is never found... I have also tried making the Tatto discoverable during this process as assume its a two way process....

Jun 14, 2010I've read a few posts about the amazing deficiencies of Tattoo's bluetooth connections.I've got a built in car bluetooth kit - I forget the name, but it's one of the more expensive ones that comes built in with company cars.My Tattoo refuses to pair and connect.Before I give up, I wanted to know if I 'root', will this help?I say 'root', I know what it's about, but haven't looked into what is needed to do it and how easy it is and what disadvantages, if any it has....I can't do without the bluetooth usage on my car, if I can't get working, then I'll just have to sell - which I don't want to.

While I can get the Hero to connect to my Chrysler Uconnect handsfree system over bluetooth, it does not seem to transfer the phone book over to the device. Aug 8, 2010my newly bought Tattoo became unbootable a few days ago.It worked perfectly fine two days ago, then it started to randomly reboot itself, but after that, it became completely unbootable, as in, it was stuck at the "TATTOO" screen. The phone internals are completely untouched, no custom images, not rooted, no nothing, it's factory fresh.The battery is full too, and I didn't install anything that could possibly have corrupted the bootloader (or whatever is failing to load).I already tried to wipe the user data _TWICE_ (using HOME + BACK + POWER) with no success. I'm also perfectly able to get into HBOOT (using VOLDOWN + MENU + POWER), and connect via usb (using "FASTBOOT USB" from HBOOT). However, I can't completely wipe the cache with fastboot.exe from the android-sdk, since it doesn't allow it: "erasing 'cache'... FAILED (remote: not allow)".

I have poor reception anyway But I found out that if I stand near a wall in my office an tile my head at 55 degrees, then I get 'ok' reception (exaggerating) But this is with other phones. Nov 1, 2009I am thinking of getting one of these for my girlfriends Xmas but would be getting it on a tariff without a data plan, relying on wi-fi for any data requirements. We were in the orange shop briefly - so i could sneakily test the water as to which phones she likes - She likes the look of the Tattoo and loves the idea of custom cases (her idea of a good phone is very superficial) but hasn't used a smartphone for any longer than 10 minutes. She doesn't like WinMo because it is very straight-laced and business orientated. I played with a hero in the orange shop and found it a pleasure to use but i have been using smartphones for a few years now. I have a couple of questions :
Will the Tattoo be usable/of any use without a data plan? What will work? what doesn't?
How easy is Android to use for a complete beginner to smartphones? She currently has a Samsung D600 (which she loves). Is she going to struggle to use basic functions?
