Model no- Reliance ZTE V9C
Not booting & stuck on Reliance welcome screen. I have not installed any apps in recent time neither did any sorts of tweaking.
I'm trying to compile omegamoon's kernel, it's a gitbub project.
I compiled it and I have the zImage.img. Using Finless ROM Flash Tool I flashed Finless 2.1 ROM, and works great. Then I flashed the same ROM but instead of the kernel that comes with that ROM I put my zImage there. As result my pen is not booting, and it's stuck in a black screen with two penguins..
I just installed an app (Contact Owner) and once I rebooted my phone, I can never get back into the system.
That shall be the only harmful action that I had done, can I know if there's any way that I can boot into safe mode to uninstall that particular app?
Note:I read some links, including this. Some said, HOME + Power, some said MENU + Power. Am trying both now and see which is gonna work.Tried both, not working How long do I have to press on the buttons? Is the "Power" button the right most bottom button?
i installed clock work mod recovery using odin multidownloader in my galaxy fit s5670, then i gave factory reset in cwm recovery. now my phone is not booting.stuck at start-up,looping around..
View 1 Replies View RelatedI updated to BB 0.4 from a previous old 2.2 installation. Now I'm stuck in an endless reboot loop! It alternates between Droid and the red Droid eye!
1) I copied update.zip to the root of the drive.
2) I installed update.zip
3) Install was successful
4) Rebooted
my phone is not booting into stock recovery and it is stuck in boot loop, only download mode is working.
I have downloaded the firmware rom . and Flash it many time through Odin 3.07 and it's still stuck in boot loop.
I have a Sero 7 Pro and along the bottom next to the on screen buttons is a button to take a screenshot. I know you can take them using the side buttons but is there an app to add the on screen button to other tablets?

after too many pattern attempts I need factory reset (disabled usb tethering setting and wifi off). When I get to android system recovery I can't do anything. I'm trying volume up/down buttons but I'm still on "reboot system now"
When I push volume down button, nothing happens:

View 9 Replies View RelatedI 'had' a desire - for a whole 3 days. Then it stopped booting ( white 'HTC' screen ) or boot looped when in 'safe mode'. Spoke to HTC, tried factory reset - they told me to take it back to the shop. I got a refund - the iphone was announced the same day and now I'm in two minds! So, was I just unlucky or is the desire not very reliable? The iphone's I've used seem to be much more solidly made. For the short period I had it I was a little concerned by the inability to back up the apps & stuff externally. I just sort of assumed that I would be using my PC to get apps and stuff and then transfer to the desire - just like itunes. Now, I know itunes is not too popular here (!) but the fact that all my purchases are held on my pc too makes me more comfortable. So
1) Is there any way that the desire can store all it's stuff in a similar way?
2) Now my phone's ( & mem card ) gone have I lost the apps I bought?
3) Can I only by Apps from market via the phone itself?
Sorry for the questions, but I'm not sure whether I want another desire now. I really like the interface but I'm not sure that the overall package is 'friendly' enough. The iphone just looks more polished.
I Have a galaxy note 2 n7102 (Clone).I have rooted it 2 days ago.i have the android stock boot animation but when i added a custom boot animation, when i rebooted the screen goes black and then the phone starts up
I tried to put it in system/media and data/local and change boot animation and Samsung in system/bin and reboot but nothing happens.
had my evo on charge and went to sleep with remote pc running, when I woke up it was really hot and kept restarting at the 4G animation. I mean, it was seriously on repeat, says 4g, then starts over again, then sprint 4g and restart. I can't get it to boot. I've tried booting with the usb connected, sd card in and out, everything. Nothing works. I even went to the recovery like I was doing an update to get it to at least reflash the firmware or something and it fails. Keep in mind, I updated a couple weeks ago with the newest EVO software manually (the one without the fps cap), so the file should still be on the SD card exactly how it was when I updated the software last.
This is what it gives me:

All of a sudden my girlfriend's Nexus One is rebooting somehow. She fires up her phone, it boots just fine, after a few seconds when everything is loaded, u can scroll thru the menus etc, it seems to reboot, but real fast, the animation comes up, and 2sec later the home screen is visible again. It keeps doing this.
Any ideas? The phone is not rooted, no custom rom, just a few regular apps form the market installed, nothing fancy.
I was following the directions of this thread trying to install notifications toggles to my phone. Used root explorer. However, l changed the permissions on the wrong file or folder, it seems, as the phone just displays the logo and reboots, caught in a loop.
What files and folders has to have which permissions? How can I change them if I can't boot my phone? I don't have any mod other than Root, as this was the first I was trying to use, as I have to have better access to the toggles.
I deleted system files etc... while attempting to revert back to stock ROM. I cannot boot into TWRP nor communicate over USB.

- Can you use any Bluetooth/wireless mouse on this tablet?
- Do you prefer Bluetooth or wireless?
- Can I use both at the same time?
- Will using both at the same time eat my battery?
I tried to load velocity using ROM manager and it would boot, but it got force quit messages repeatedly before I could do anything else so I tried holding volume down, home, and send together and it flashed a screen quickly with the little android guy and a progress bar and then after that it won't go past the android logo. I tried using the LG-utility to flash it but it gives me errors and it wont flash it. What can I do besides run the thing over and get a new phone from insurance?
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy device is rooted, i was installing an app that tweaks performance which needed drivers to be downloaded / installed. As soon as i clicked that driver download / install button the device immediatly shut down. Now i'm stuck on its boot logo (Its a Chinese tablet powered by a RK3066 Chip / android 4.1.1) I tried (Holding power + volume down) = Dead android logo with red exc. mark on top / (Holding power + volume up) = Nothing / (Holding power + both volume up and down) = Dead android logo with red exc. mark on top / (Leaving dead android logo for a couple of minutes) = resets and logo is still stuck.
I have no custom anything . I did not do anything with the root except download apps.
I also do not have linux.
When the tablet is plugged into the PC when the dead android is displaying , it detects, but that is it, i cannot browse it what so ever.
All recovery methods in the tablet are (dead android logo)
I want to run a dj tango app on a hand-held device. It'll need to run Python (obviously) and will write its data to an SQLite database. Are there any tablets available that will let me do this? Specifically, if I bought an Android tablet, would I have to/be able to install Linux instead, or would I be able to run it under Android?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to work out if it is possible to view 1 movie simultaneously on 2 seperate tablets. I am trying to set them up as in-car entertainment for my kids (3 and 1.5). They are too young to keep heaphones on so i was hoping to be able to somehow sync a movie on both tablets to keep the audio in time. I have heard of the Seagate Wi-fi HDD but am not sure if that can play the movie in sync on 2 devices.
Also it would have to be without a wi-fi unless i used the seagate drive.
I just rooted using the One Click method posted above. All went well up to where I rebooted after installing my KaosFroyo v27 I think. My phone is now stuck with a shiny Android logo, flashing over and over. It's been like this for about fifteen minutes now.

View 5 Replies View RelatedSo I've searched the forum database and the internet at large and can't seem to find anyone with 'exactly' my problem. My Eve has been problematic since I got it 3 months ago. I perform at least 10 battery pulls a day to get it to 'wake up' because nothing else works. It started to get really cranky on Friday night but it continued working -- very slowly -- but I kept getting error msgs (don't ask me, can't remember!) The battery dies, so I plugged it in overnight. Since then it turns on, shows the Rogers screen, gets to the Android screen with the light scrolling across the letters, then hangs there. Twice I somehow managed to get it to a screen that said ARM11 has failed and gave me 2 options, volume down or volume up. I tried each of these once, same thing. Today it somehow got to! EMERGENCY MODE but was then completely unresponsive while showing this text.
I called Rogers and he suggested I do an update but that it would erase all my info. I was desperate and tried this, but to no avail. Did not do anything different to my phone. As I sit here typing, the Android screen is scrolling sideways, doing it's thing. Meanwhile I have no cell phone. Apparently Rogers doesn't replace it (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada). They ship it on my behalf to LG who assesses and decides if they will replace or inform Rogers to inform me that it needs to be repaired, then LG charges me $30 for the assesment. Could take 2-3 weeks -- they will give me an old flip phone to use for that time. Meanwhile no discount on the monthly Data/Cell phone plan. It's kind of striking a nerve. I'm considering sending it back and buying a used iPhone 3G for $300 and if I get the Eve back, I'll sell it over the internet.
OK, one day I was able to open a Genymotion device, but later that day I wasn't. Reason?
When I opened a terminal (using CrunchBang Waldorf) and ran Genymotion, it would work fine, but then when I booted a Samsung Galaxy S4 4.3 , it would bring up the device fine, but it would get stuck on that "Android" screen, with the light going across.
I waited for a few hours, only to come back to the same message. I would open up the .Genymobile/genymotion-player.log using cat in terminal. The results?

So I tried running it through VirtualBox, giving me "untracked pid exited ____" with a number 100+ in the ____.
Other devices work fine, including SGS4 4.2.2, but SGS4 4.3 doesn't work.

All I can find is video output to 1 secondary monitor. I need to know if I can (using iDisplay or whatever) output from a pc to 8-12 android tablets in extended desktop. So the tablets would make 1 big monitor. Operating system on pc side can be linux or windows 7/xp.
