Jan 17, 2010I have a problem with a video that I am trying to upload or share.I can share via facebook or gmail, but am stuck right now because it says that the file is too large.It's about 2 min of video, so I don't know how big that is since I cant find the actual size anywhere.Any idea how I can get it off the phone if I don't have an sd card reader?I guess I could mount the phone to my laptop and copy to my regular comp, but I was hoping there was an easier way to do it?

May 22, 2010So I did the upgrade at home, no problem, then loaded My Back up from the market, and reloaded my apps and data from my SD card. I got all the way to load HTC home (109 items). At item 107, force closed pops up. Now when it goes to load the home page it's an endless cyle of forced closed.
Took it to the Sprint store, nothing they can do but reload the 2.1, come back in 2 hours . I do, go home and run threw all these steps again, but this time without loading the task killer app (store recomendation). Same results!
Sprint HTC Hero :: Copy And Post Files For Boot Sequence?
Aug 3, 2010Is it possible that someone who still has 1.5 on their Hero to copy all the needed files for the COMPLETE boot sequence and post it so I can download it? Someone has already posted the HERO logo with the android waving but I would like the whole boot loop.

Nov 19, 2009I did a hard reset and then upgraded my firmware. I then went to re-install all of my previous applications and noticed that some were missing from "My Downloads". I then went and did a search to locate them in the marketplace and got no return, as if the application doesn't exist any more.

Nov 23, 2009I need to be able to post XMPP messages in my main activity AND a service that I am running in the background. How can I pass all the XMPP information (including XMPPConnection) to the service so it can use it without twice logging in? Currently I have it setup so I am making 2 XMPP connections. This works, my service continues to send XMPP messages UNTIL I try to send a message in my main activity, then the app force closes. Im assuming because I have tried to login to the service twice.

Sep 3, 2010I am looking for an awesome music widget the will fill an entire homescreen and display album art. Something that does visualizations would be VERY cool. I've seen most of the standard ones and nothing quite does it for me. Saw one on a blog the other day that had a turntable on the bottom and album art on top - was perfect but was an idiot and didn't bookmark it now I can't find it.

Nov 28, 2010so when I go to my GALLERY on my Epic and select and image to SHARE, it shows a list of all my apps I can send it to, but since I have a lot I can't select my MESSAGES!? I want to send friends some images on mms!And when I turn it to landscape mode, the list is even shorter! It won't allow me to scroll through my apps to send the image.

Dec 14, 2009So only because I haven't taken the time to figure it out, I still have two mail apps. The gmail app and the mail widget. For some reason, when I get mail it will from time to time show up in the email app. It always shows up in gmail, but every now and then, it will also show up in the mail widget. The question I have is, why will HTML mail only show the attachments/pictures in the mail widget. The same email will not display in gmail. How can I get gmail to show HTML images?

Dec 2, 2009I switched phones the other day.The 1st phon eI was able to set my lock screen with a provided wall papar. On teh new phone, it says I have no photos and will not let me go to wallpapers. Could this be because I hace swapped out the 2gig micro sd with a new sd card?Because I know I did it on the other phone.

Jul 23, 2010I am running Fresh 2.3.3 and I have the Vanilla lockscreen enabled. I have tried a lot of patches and metamorphs all locking my phone and sending into force closes and boot loops. My question is is it possible to change the vanilla wallpaper on Fresh? Is there a way to find the wallpaper used and change it? If not I'll live with it. It looks much better then sense with fresh.

Aug 21, 2010Is it possible to use LWP in HTC Sense in Fresh? I know the flip guy sent out a fix for this, but that took away weather animations (and I like that). Also the LWP ran a bit laggy, as opposed to when I ran the LWP with the undo fix. The issue is though, when I run it with the fix undone, whenever I wake the phone up, it disappears. Is this some sort of remedy for this.
