Is there a way or a app that allows u to set a time for your phone to turn completley off and back on at a certain time. i could do this on my blackberry and would set it to turn off at night then back on in the morning.

I liked it at first, but turning it off really speeds up the response time. For some reason it is still vibrating when I go to phone and start typing a number. The lag id horrible compared to typing with the vibrate off

View 2 Replies View RelatedI don't know if it was a settings app (Quick Settings by Sergey) from the android market that caused it, but after uninstalling that app (the only other one i use right now is the lock screen widget - which i just uninstalled), i can't turn the mobile network on. i've tried the airplane mode trick, gone into settings, soft reset, etc. any ideas in the manage applications? i'd rather not do another hard reset (had to for the google account). i called htc and they were useless - with no trouble shooting, they recommended a hard reset and to not download apps! btw, i'm on a non-rooted phone.

So my question is, does anyone know how to turn the vibration off for the dial pad? I got it turned off for texting and I have the noise off for the dial pad just can't seem to get the vibration off. The reason I ask is because my dial pad is realllllllyy laggy. Like it takes 2-3+ seconds for a number that you press to show up and I feel like the vibration is the reason for the lag.
Odd question, but I can't figure for the life of me how to turn these off.

I am not trying to complain, but I do believe this is an option that should have been tested, so this is the first glitch I have noticed so far. Other than that, its looking good. Anyone else?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI installed Handcent because of the battery drain issue, and like it a lot, but now I cannot turn off the OEM Messages program. I tried going into the Settings>Applications>Manage Applications to turn it off, and it doesn't work. I also did the "Use Handcent as default SMS" when that box first pops up. I get two different ringtone notifications too. Although I switched the ringer to the same one both through the phone's settings and through Handcent's settings.
