I've, accidentally, deleted default shortcuts on right homescreen (GPS, Wi-Fi, bluetooth & wibe)!
How can I get it back? Tryed via shortcuts, but nothing.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI am new to the forums and i needed some help. I rooted my phone last night and i am having some issues. I deleted a lot of he filler apps but i also deleted skype in the process. Is there a way to get it back? Also my phone is horrendously slow now, the opposite of what the root was supposed to accomplish, i even had a 2200 quad benchmark score. Now my pages and downloads take forever. I thought there woulx be a way to get back to defaults to solve the problem. I unrooted too using one click lag fix and nothing changed for the better.

I've searched and I also deleted the picture, hoping the background would disappear with it, but nothing happens.

As of probably August/September i was new in here, with no idea what to do with the X10 - through the X10 community - nay FAMILY - on this forum, i have developed from someone using basic stock icons, to well, a fully custom layout. HUGE HUGE thanks go out to X10iUser for the guidance in getting my phone here and the late night tutorial tonight lol
and to everyone else in this forum with their thoughts and ideas - whether its on what widget looks nice, or what background - keep them going, cos they bring us to the end results we dream of (well it has done mine lol)
So thats where i came to - i've modded the HTC Keyboard - which CuBz does an awesome job on explaining how to install here How to install HTC keyboard Step-by-step
and then modded with the guide from GIMPSTA at XDA here http://www.gimpsta.com/themer/main.php, the homescreens were taken from advice on widgets and apps in here Show Us Your X10 Homescreen... and the fonts from here Android Fonts... So to close it off - if you feel stupid (trust me, i did), confused or just curious about something, ask the question - after asking the question you have some idea's then share them - after you've shared them and you want to progress further - then i'm sure someone can help

I'm only getting 8 on the left, 6 in the center and 8 on the right. I've seen pics of more (up to 16 per screen), but when I drag apps on, they don't stay. Am i missing something/ Search and google found me nothing.
I'm also barely making it through the day with battery life. It's only my second charge, but i had wifi/bluetooth turned off, juice defender activated in most modes, app killer working with very few apps running and the battery can barely make 16 hours. I'd would think I should be able to get 2 days out of it if everything is turned off and the phone isn't in use.

HTC Dream was able to show the pictures but not xperia. weird. also while im posting might as well save threads and ask here lol....
I tried playing an MkV video file.. But its very choppy and slo-mo kind of. tried using Xandplayer and something else. no help. is there a best above all media player for x10? i had a VLC player for my old HTC dream that worked fine. I would love to watch my sitcom episodes on my phone.
im having an issue with timescape on my homescreen does not update with timescape it can leave an update saying 4minutes ago on my screen but the update be several hours old

I am very disappointed with all my inbox messages deleted & moved to trash! ,, & am shocked to have not found a reasonable justification to this, whether on Google Support Forum or here on Android's.Ever since I used the E-mail application on my Android [v 1.6] Sony Ericsson - Xperia - X10 phone, all my Email messages moved to trash & God only knows if something is forever gone.It even changed the filters & their settings.The problem is common among other users but the causes are different.Why would IMAP do this? why isn't anyone justifying this?I demand an 'undo' for all this & a justification. In God's name, I am not going to fix this manually, am I? If so, this is an incredible huge waste.

View 2 Replies View Relatedi had to turn off the settings for the Mobile Networks MMS and data because it automatically connects to my provider and I am being charged and this usually happens when I touch on Timescape. I just dont know if its connected though but after doing so, after sometime my Messaging system prompts me up a message saying that there was an error (android.system.mms) and it needs to fore close and then after that all of my messages were automatically deleted including the message updates in the splines. I already went to the Service Center and the only thing they told me was it will be okay once I have updated to the new version which is the 2.1.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am in the process of upgrading my Xperia x10 to Android 2.1. I followed the instructions to update to the latest version of Backup and Restore using the
application on m.sonyericsson.com/backup, and it installed properly.
However, when I create a new restore point, and proceed to actually backing up my phone, it runs a few seconds backing up contacts and then
switches to a screen that tells me "Could not back up".
I've tried restarting the phone. Any suggestions? My backups from before the update this morning have vanished as well.
I hate the default swipe of the x10 and want to install a different one. I have lock 2.0 which is great however it doesnt remove the default swipe. Does anyone know how to disable the default lock swipe?
