How can I rename the shortcuts on my home page? I've read on this forum to use "Anycut" but it doesn't appear in my Market. Is there another app that'll do the same thing?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI set up my google account when I first received the phone and everything. However now when I open up the home screen the Google Search bar has disappeared. Gone into Basic settings > Setup Guide to check details but Google Account settings not even listed! (Just SIM Contacts; Time & Date; Email; Facebook; Twitter; Sync) Have checked Applications and it shows Google Search (enhanced) as the default setting but it is not showing up on my screen either as the search bar or in the applications. Have tried taking out and re-inserting the sim card. Any ideas on how to get it re-instated?

On my old Nokia I could rename the headset so that I could recognize it by name rather than having to switch it on and wait for the X10 to find it and connect.

So i have 4 email accounts on my homepage i have them titled 'hotmail, hotmail 2, hotmail mb & gmail'.

When I press the home button (middle one) I get a prompt to select to 'Complete Action using Home or Timescape' This is quite annoying. I want the default action to be Home (not Timescape) but despite ticking the box in the prompt it still pops up this box.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am having an issue where my phone connects fine to my home internet Via a new N-Router, then while using the phone and going through different apps like facebook or android market. I get errors about unable to fetch updates or unable to update page. All the while the WiFi icon is still on in the status bar. It seems that when I turn off the WiFi then back on or power the phone off then back on it work again for a short while. I don't have issues with my laptop or WiFi that use this same router.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought this x10 two days ago. I am not still able to make Internet work on it via WiFi. Tasks I performed:
1. Updated X10 to the latest firmware.
2. Connected to My WiFi Network and given the authentication details.
3. Connection status is connected in X10. (There is no problem in connecting to my WiFi Network for X10).
4. I went to Browser and typed Google its coming as "Page Cannot be Displayed"
Problem is: X10 is connecting to WiFi but Cannot Browse. I tired even Use Static IP and gave DNS and gateway even.

I use mine for work and sync up no problem using Moxier with my corporate exchange server.I want to also setup my personal email using another program. I have tried the stock email program (underwhelming) and K9. I cant get either one to sync with my outlook. I can set up my email address in them, and as long as my outlook on my home PC is closed I can receive emails. As soon as it is opened, emails arrive on the PC and do not show up on my phone.What am I missing? What is the terminology for what I want to do? I am running Outlook 2003, and I dont really use calendar or other functions but I want both our phones ad PC to all e in sync mail wise.
