Oct 19, 2010I am new to the forums and i needed some help. I rooted my phone last night and i am having some issues. I deleted a lot of he filler apps but i also deleted skype in the process. Is there a way to get it back? Also my phone is horrendously slow now, the opposite of what the root was supposed to accomplish, i even had a 2200 quad benchmark score. Now my pages and downloads take forever. I thought there woulx be a way to get back to defaults to solve the problem. I unrooted too using one click lag fix and nothing changed for the better.

Sep 16, 2010I am very disappointed with all my inbox messages deleted & moved to trash! ,, & am shocked to have not found a reasonable justification to this, whether on Google Support Forum or here on Android's.Ever since I used the E-mail application on my Android [v 1.6] Sony Ericsson - Xperia - X10 phone, all my Email messages moved to trash & God only knows if something is forever gone.It even changed the filters & their settings.The problem is common among other users but the causes are different.Why would IMAP do this? why isn't anyone justifying this?I demand an 'undo' for all this & a justification. In God's name, I am not going to fix this manually, am I? If so, this is an incredible huge waste.

General :: FM Radio APK Deleted By Mistake On Micromax A90?
Nov 11, 2013I accidentally deleted the FM Radio APK of my Micromax A90 and didn't have a backup. I tried three different FM Radio APKs, but none worked correctly.
First one was for Gingerbread so didn't work on ICS.
Second one installed but constantly gave up a message of initializing.
Third one also installed but force closes on opening the app.

Jun 21, 2010i had to turn off the settings for the Mobile Networks MMS and data because it automatically connects to my provider and I am being charged and this usually happens when I touch on Timescape. I just dont know if its connected though but after doing so, after sometime my Messaging system prompts me up a message saying that there was an error (android.system.mms) and it needs to fore close and then after that all of my messages were automatically deleted including the message updates in the splines. I already went to the Service Center and the only thing they told me was it will be okay once I have updated to the new version which is the 2.1.

Sep 20, 2010I have two groups of contacts "MyContacts" and "Utilities". When I set up synching I selected to copy "All contacts".
Unfortunatey, when I look what's on my area on sonyericsson.com/wportal I see only the contacts from the group "MyContacts".
I.e. the site creates a false feeling of security - if I need to restore my phone from this site I will irrecovarebly lose lots of data.
I don't know is SE forgot to test their function or Android-hackers don't understand the features of the contacts.
All area of handling the contacts stinks seriously, and mkes you wander if the Android people ever used a mobile phone :
1. X10 does not accept contacts sent via SMS (VCARD-format), (or via MMS or bluetooth)
2. X10 does not sync with Outlook where most of business people have their contacts, and maintain them when receiving corporate mails etc.
3. The only way to get the contacts is to export from PC to a csv-file and import to gmail, and then sync to the phone. This is not that flexible due the export via csv. I.e. If I create cntacts in the phone they will not reach Outlook.

Aug 20, 2010Just received my phone yesterday and had a problem getting the SIM contacts from my old W910i phone to the Xperia x10. Followed the instructions to the letter, then called up Orange and they tried a few ways to get them over, went to the shop this morning to try and sort it out but after over an hour it was to no avail. The young chap in the store said that it must be based on the database setup - they must be incompatible.
So I now have to manually input my old contacts on the new phone when I encountered another problem - whilst inputting a contact detail, I pressed something on the bottom left of the keyboard and suddenly I am faced with Korean language. I went to Settings and set the language to English UK and went back to the contact I was editing, but still faced with a Korean keyboard.

Nov 1, 2010I installed android 2.1 today but for some reason I can't restore my contacts.I followed the instructions on the sony ericsson webpage and used the SE backup software to make a backup of my contacts, mms, photos etc. When I restored everything after the update everything was restored except my contacts. How can I get my contacts back? Is there some way to extract them manually from the backup file or something? The backup software can't seem to restore them for me.
