Is there an app thats better than the stock email? i have it hooked up to my hottmail account. also if not, how can I change my email signature to say sent by 'Xperia x10 android'

Is there any way to auto sync an individual email account ?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am currently using a x10i (x10?) on tmobile, i have the data plan ($10), and have my email connected via gmail. however, it seems like i have to do manual refresh in order to get email update. Is this normal or is there automatic feature that i must enable to have it alert me once an email is received?
Secondly, is it possible to set-up a third party email account, ex: Yahoo? I went through the notion of manually enter email account, but was unsucessful. It give me a msg that mailbox access is not supported for some tpes of yahoo mail accounts. Could this be an interference with gmail email, thus causing the problem? Even, using the manually setup option, it still fails to connect to my yahoo account.
I have noticed a probable gltich in the timescape, excuse me if I had mistaken. I see that all my accounts(face book,Twitter, SMS) are updated correctly but I don't find the call log and my email view of timescape correctly updated. Please help out to get this corrected. PS I am using the 1.6 version of Android.

I have installed Sony Ericsson PC Companion on my computer and I managed to add new contacts by adding them on my pc and then sync-ing which updated the contacts on my phone! View 5 Replies View RelatedWell I live in the UK with a Vodafone handset and just upgraded OTA, before the update when using the dialer and selecting a contact then selecting the number would usually dial straight away. After the update when I select the contact and select the number I want to dial what it does now is take it to the number screen with the number on thus slowing down the call process and making me put it towards my ear and pressing random numbers before realizing that I haven't even made the call yet.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI wonder if I can change the default settings for my calendar to "no reminder" and also to create an event in my calendar called "SonyEricsson" instead of the calendar named after me (since only the calendar called "SonyEricsson" synchronizes with sonyericsson's server and my other phone). Now I have to change to these settings for every new event I create. And if I forget to change the calendar to SonyEricsson I can't switch it later for some weird reason.
If this is not possible, do you know what else I can do? Explanations how to sync the calendar named after me, delete this calendar so SonyEricsson is chosen as default or any other suggestions are welcome.
when i install app from droid market, are they install to the phone or the SD card. if to the phone, do i have the option to put them to the SD card? when i connect the x10 to my computer via the USB cable, i don't seem to see the apps. where, which folder rather, do they reside?

When newly setting up my X10 part of the setup process was (of course) email, so I entered my gmail info. I later set up gmail from the gmail icon.Now, when I receive email it shows in one..I open/read/close and it opens immediately in the other. I don't really care which I keep (although the gmail one is slightly nicer looking) but am afraid to delete either for fear of having it not work at all.

I have moxier set up to flow through my webmail account and it woks pretty well. I was also using K9 for my personal email prior to 2.1 update this past weekend. Does any one have a suggestion as to what to use to replace moxier , and what app to use for my personal email?

View 5 Replies View RelatedAs the title says, i've lost the default image viewer. My phone had a minor update which changed the way it receives further updates and added Backup & Restore.
But since I have lost the default image viewer. So without crappy mediascape I'm no longer able to click through my images, zoom and set as wallpaper. Has anyone else come across this? Is there a way I can download default software again? Pretty agrovate about this, x10 has been a nightmare since day 1.
I have been trying to add an email account to my phone through the email button.I have also tried using K-9, but still no luck.I have added my gmail account with no problem, but would also like to add my yahoo email address.There seems to be a facility to do so.I have put my yahoo address and password in to the appropriate section, but the next page asks for my 'Username'.Any idea what the 'Username' means?I have tried putting in my yahoo email address, both with and without the 'yahoo.ca' bit, but I get an error message saying 'Setup could not finish.Username or password incorrect'.
