View 6 Replieson my Xperia 10 after upgrading to OS 2.1, I lost the ability to press the on/off button on top to ignore a call which would also send it to any "forward when busy number".Anyone have a suggestion of what will do that now?
View 1 Replies View RelatedLast few days I am having problems with incoming calls. Phone doesn't ring at all and caller is forwarded straight to answering machine.
View 3 Replies View Relatedits my fourth day sincei bought my Samsung I7500. fist two days of use were perfect. i suddenly couldn't charge the battery and it turned off. when i came home i've charged it and than next day i was loosing a lot of incoming calls! when someone calls me the phone just rings once and its stops, sometimes its shows as a missed call sometime it doesn't show anything.
can please anyone try to help me weather this is a hardware or software problem. i'm trying to update the phone through the NewPC but i definitely can't connect the phone and update it maybe i'm missing something...........
I own myself an I7500 (firmware V 1.5 Baseband V i7500 xxii5)
my question is if there is a way to see the total time of my incoming and outgoing calls?
in the call log i can see the duration of each call but there seems not to be any way to see the total time for all ofmy calls...
any ideas - apps that i have not found or thought?
When i make a phone call i should have the option to press digits (1-9, *,#) - However, i can't since they are not responding - maybe they are locked or something...!
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Treo had this option, and so did the Hero that I had for a few weeks. When a call is coming in, there is an option on the screen to ignore the call and reply with a text message. I realize this can be done just by pressing the "hangup" button and then unlocking the phone, and then opening the SMS app, finding the person's contact info, and replying, but a one-button process would be really nifty. If there is not such an app, where's a good place to start learning how to write one?
View 6 Replies View Relatedbefore froyo I would be able to hit the top button during an incoming call, the phone would silent and the caller wouldn't know I am sending him/her to voicemail. Now this is no longer an option. I had to swipe up to decline, swipe down to answer. Anyone else notice this? Need to test what swipe up to decline actually does. I've also noticed that GMAIL app no longer refreshes for mail automagically and some apps rotate only one way, like market, most of the top does not work in portrait. Ex: Just now I start Market in Portrait, it opens in landscape and won't switch...Anyone else notice little things like this? Maybe there is some re-configuration/re-calibration that needs to be done after FROYO 2.2 OTA update? Wish Verizon would have given us a heads up
View 3 Replies View RelatedIs there an app the will give you the location ("city/state") that an incoming call is coming from! I know the "htc pro2" does it & the iphone, haven't seen this on the moment yet!

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I ignore a call, it goes directly to my vm. I know there is a way to sent a text, but I have not been able to figure it out
View 1 Replies View RelatedI looked & was unable to find an answer to this when I searched. My phone is actually RINGING with the ringtone when I get a 2nd call on call waiting. I'd much prefer the beep as it is very disruptive and a friend asked me the other day what that noise was. It was my phone ringing for an incoming call!
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to mute the ring tone of an incoming call while I am deciding what to do with the call? This morning some idiot rang me at 0150h. I was fumbling to mute the tone before it woke up the whole house. But I could not find any option. In meetings, it is a nuisance if the ringing blares away while I make my way out of the room to take the call.
View 5 Replies View RelatedOn my Samsung Moment, a lot of times when someone is calling me, the phone will start vibrating or ringing as it should but the screen does not turn on showing the caller id until 4 or 5 rings, if at all. It makes answering calls before it goes to voicemail difficult.
Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?
Last night i was recording a video and got a call, i did not take but the video stopped, is ther a way not to take it and keep recording? thanks 4 ur time.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am having trouble hearing the beeps that are heard for incoming calls when I am listening to music. Is there anyway to change this to something more obvious?
Either making it louder and the music playing quieter, or even pausing the music and notifcation sounds or ringtone playing would be good. I cant seem to find a fix. I am missing many calls like this.
I am unable to answer the incoming call by pressing the green icon on samsung galaxy s. Instead, i have to drag the green icon to the right. Please suggest a way with which i can receive the call in a single touch.
View 7 Replies View RelatedSo, when someone calls me it rings your cell phone , when to call can not hear anything, just do not hear the message , or when play music , and when I put the headphones , then everything is normal I hear, what to do , I made a reset and again is not good
View 3 Replies View Relatedeverytime I make a call or pick up the phone the in call volume reset to 50%. is there a way I can permanently set it to max? I am using latest galaxo. also the dial pad is not vibrating even though it is set to vibrate in the options.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have just received my second Galaxy handset as replacement from O2 after returning the first with what appeared to be some sort of hardware fault that caused calls to be rejected before pickup quite often just at the moment of touching the phone! I was quite happy with O2 and the way they dealt with the situation and couldn't wait for the new unit but sadly it has arrived with the very same issues as the last one and O2 are again confident that its a hardware fault and now want me to choose some other phone!
View 49 Replies View RelatedLately I've started noticing that pushing the End call button while the phone is in sleep or idle mode wakes the phone up like the unlock button does. Has it always done this? I can't remember being aware of this feature last year when I got the phone.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got my samsung galaxy (and love it), but when i make/receive calls, i can barely hear the person on the other end. i have my call volume set to the highest (5), but it's still just too difficult to hear. has anyone else had a problem like this, or does it sound like a defect? maybe there's an app that can fix this? i bought my phone on ebay, so i have two more days to report any issues defects with my phone to be able to return it.
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy phone started exhibiting some strange behavior today regarding sound and mic - neither are working (most of the time). If I am receiving a call, the phone will sound the ring, but when I answer it the speaker and mic go dead. If I hit the volume button while the phone is ringing, the speaker also goes dead. When I try to play music, no sound is produced (although if I plug in headphones I find that it is playing). The problem persists after multiple reboots and the Samsung "song" does play during boot. I'm not sure exactly when this started as it was working fine yesterday.
View 24 Replies View RelatedIs there anyone can use SS i7500 to make a video call . I'm using JC6
View 3 Replies View RelatedAdmittedly I don't use my phone as a phone a whole lot. I didn't notice this before, but today while actually using this thing as a phone, the sound of the person at the other end would completely cut off if I said anything. It was exactly like using a speakerphone or a walkie talkie. Is this a bug with Galaxo or has my Galaxy always done this and I have failed to notice ?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI installed Fring on my Galaxy and it did some strange tricks , now my phone is in a state in wich it is completely muted ( no sounds, cannot call and cannot hear) and have to use a headset to use it.
I'm sure it is Fring, because as soon I make a fring call test it works again and I can make and receive calls without headset ( no alerts nor loudspeaker though)
I will have to reset it to factory settings, but I have a series of doubts:
- Contacts: I have contacts from my sim card, some I added and some that come from Facebook/Gmail, now, I checked on the contacts and everything is there, which, I suppose, means that first time I rtestart a sync they'll be back, right?
- Internal data: Photos and MP3 are safe in the SD card, what else do I have to backup?
- Market apps: The market profile will allow me to redownload the apps that I had on the phone or is the profile locally stored? if so, were so that I can Backup it?
- A special issue: here in Belgium we do not have the paying market yet so we can only download the free apps. When i was in Italy I used an italian SIM card and bought a couple of apps.
I suppose there is no way i an get them back is there?
Till yesterday my phone was working well. But today i am not able hear any calls. I am receiving calls but not able to hear & same thing in other side. Even i am not able to hear the ringtone while dialing. Is there any problem with mike or settings. Also speaker in menu is not working while call.Had I uninstalled some root file. My firmware version is XXJB2.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I'm on a call and a 2nd call comes in, my phone doesn't ring or anything. Is there anyway to change this so that I know when I have a call waiting without having to look at the screen (which is usually pressed up against my ear)?

View 7 Replies View Relatedfirst of all let me just say that beta2 is superb i just have one problem with it whenever i'm in a call (reciving or dialing) the screen goes blank and i cant wake up the phone not the end call button and not the open (side) button the only ways i can wake it up is by getting another call or rebooting
