Samsung Moment :: Calls Going Straight To Google Voice
Nov 22, 2010so i was playing w/my google voice, and now all my calls to my Cell number somehow go to my google voice number which is a different number then my cell number. I just want my calls to my cell to go to my cell voicemail but I can not figure out how to deactivate whatever I've done. Can anyone help?

Jan 18, 2010i just recently bought the moment and so far love the phone. 1 big problem is where my house is located the sprint network is very weak. and the phone now is constantly switching from sprint to roaming but never stays on either more than a minute..on my old cell i could set the phone to "roam only" with the moment and a lot of new phones i notice that option is gone.?

Dec 4, 2009I just switched to the Moment and I'm really digging it so far, except for the battery. I was wondering if anyone knows of an app out there or some settings that can prevent apps from loading automatically. Often, I find that apps like Sprint Nav, Sprint TV, Moxier Mail, etc. loaded automatically. I'm getting tired of killing apps all day long to save memory and battery. It seems like my Moment doesn't want to run with more than 30mb free cause it just keeps loading apps until it gets to around 26-30mb.

Aug 11, 2010There are some apps which I don't want to upgrade. Shazaam comes to mind since it is now a paid service.
Others I don't want to upgrade because the current app works for me and the "upgrade" introduces problems.
Is it possible to turn off the upgrade notification for some but not all apps? I don't want to accidentally include an app when I am upgrading others.

Nov 9, 2009Most every other "issue" to this phone has been a non-issue for me to this point.However, the one feature Samsung really screwed us on is the voice capabilities of the phone.I think they are tied to the Nuance system and therefore unusable by other apps like google voice search and where.I hope samsung or sprint writes a live search app for this phone.I bought the phone with the expectations of this phone being capable of voice commands without being limited by nuance.

When I press the home button (middle one) I get a prompt to select to 'Complete Action using Home or Timescape' This is quite annoying. I want the default action to be Home (not Timescape) but despite ticking the box in the prompt it still pops up this box.

Nov 16, 2009we all know there are problems with stuttering and skipping in Pandora. Here's some proof of what's going on when it happens. I hooked up my phone and grabbed the system log as I started Pandora and easily got it to stutter and skip. I added notes as to what what happening at each step.Perhaps this log will raise some awareness of the problem and if we're lucky all this will make it back to Sprint and Samsung and get fixed soon.

May 24, 2010I have a contact setup and have enabled the option to have their calls go directly to voicemail. I've got every number I know for this person listed. Seems like that's all I really need to do. So why am I here watchinghearing my phone ring right now on my desk and yes it's from the contact in question? I mean we've all got at least 1 person that we just do NOT want to talk to when they call. I can deal with a voicemail and call them back when I'm ready. But when I reach for my ringing phone and I see that contact's name. all I can say is WTF?

May 28, 2010My wife's phone can't get calls - it can get texts and data fine. At first, calls would go straight to voicemail, and now there is a message stating "The number or code you have dialed is incorrect". Nobody who has tried calling is marked "straight to voicemail", and I had a friend who is not on her contact list call her and he go the same thing. I rooted and removed some bloatware over a week ago, and had no problems. She had adialer installed, and removing that did nothing. I can make calls from her phone, although earlier she said she tried calling me (I was holding the phone because I just texted her to do it) and she said I went straight to voicemail. Sitting here, I called my phone and several other numbers with her phone with no problems.
