What I am looking is a software by which I can add specific numbers (my wife; my dad and my mom and my boss).. These four numbers I want to add to a list which will always ring even if my mobile is on silent mode.

Dec 21, 2012Somehow I apparently changed the setting so that the woman's voice announces my incoming calls and texts from my contacts. I'd like to turn that back off and just have the whistle/ringtone.
I can't find it in the manual or online.

It is very sporatic but happens quite frequently. Sometimes i will see an incoming call, hear the ringer, then when i click "Accept" it appears to be connected, but i hear dead silence. Then about 10 seconds later the call is ended. It may happen a few times in a row, and it also may not happen. I never have any issues dialing out though. I know the people calling me, and sometimes it is people who don't call regularly. They wouldn't play games like prank call me.

When someone leaves me a message and i press callback it calls that number and Verizon wont recognize that +1 extension in front of the area code.
General :: Rooted Galaxy S III - Not Receiving Voice Calls When Data Turn On
Feb 16, 2013I have a Tmobile rooted Samsung Galaxy S III, I was running a nightly Cyanogenmod 10 ROM. Yesterday there was an update for that rom and I downloaded it and installed it, everything was fine and running smoothly until some people started telling me that they were not able to reach me by phone. I tried checking what was wrong and I finally realized that whenever I have my mobile data on or while I am using it I don't receive voice calls. I tried looking everywhere for a way to fix this and I came across the ##DATA# code in which I could turn off the DDTM option but unfortunately my phone doesn't recognize that code.
this is the message I get every time I try to enter ##3282# code.
I thought that maybe something was wrong with the ROM itself so i decided to browse around here for one for my Tmobile samsung galaxy S 3 and I decided to install this one [ROM][4.2.2][RC1] LiquidSmooth ROMs - d2tmo - 2|14|13
after wiping data/cache and dalvik cache I installed this ROM and this is my current phone info and still when I am using my mobile data I cant receive calls nor put the ##DATA# code to turn off DDTM.
is there any other way I could access that DDTM option?
Another thing I realized is that even tho I did the factory reset, wipe dalvik cache and data cache on recovery mode my phone still says it only has 4gb free on its internal memory, isn't it supposed to be completely free after wiping all that stuff?
HTC Desire :: Increasing Speaker Volume?
Oct 28, 2010I use my Desire in the car quite a bit, and as I don't have a bluetooth hands free kit, my old one got smashed in the boot when I dropped a big tool box on it. Dumb ass, I'm using the inbuilt speaker on the phone. While for the most part, this is fine, I would like to increase the volume slightly. Obviously not enough to blow the speaker. I know there's an app/mod for the headphones volume, but what about the speakers volume? Anyway of increasing that?

I am a former iPhone user and IMO there is a noticeable difference in the overall output db level compared to iPhone only when playing audio files like mp3 and .wav. Does anyone know if there is a way to boost the audio output volume for non rooted users? Is there an app that could help?

So I am asking myself if this issue is "fixable" or are the speakers so cheap that they cannot handle higher volume? To say it again and again, I bought the X10 to use it as a smartphone and make calls with it. Otherwise I could have kept my W580i and my iPod Touch.

Apr 5, 2010Just noticed that notifications sounds only come out of the tiny speaker port on one side of the X10. No sounds come out of the speaker used for listening to voice calls on the front of the phone. Wonder if the phone can be modified to output notifications from that speaker as well as the one on the side? Guessing though, that it isn't a very loud speaker though as you've normally got your ear stuck to it!

Sep 21, 2010When I first got my Vibrant a week after launch date, I noticed most people would tell me they had been calling me but I never received the call. Sometimes they said it would go straight to voicemail, sometimes it would ring and ring and ring with no answer and voicemail never coming on. Some times I wouldn't get text messages either, or just get the text messages hours after it was sent.
I ended up having to switch to Edge, which I really don't like because it's so much slower in my area than 3G. I know 3G is not what carries phonecalls, and that it shouldn't really matter. But my girlfriend and I both bought a Vibrant the same day, and we both have the same problem. She has gotten her Vibrant exchanged for a new one about a month ago since it ended up having a problem with the SD Card, and I had to get my Vibrant replaced a few weeks ago as well because my first one was lagging like crazy, and freezing............

Sep 7, 2009its my fourth day sincei bought my Samsung I7500. fist two days of use were perfect. i suddenly couldn't charge the battery and it turned off. when i came home i've charged it and than next day i was loosing a lot of incoming calls! when someone calls me the phone just rings once and its stops, sometimes its shows as a missed call sometime it doesn't show anything.
can please anyone try to help me weather this is a hardware or software problem. i'm trying to update the phone through the NewPC but i definitely can't connect the phone and update it maybe i'm missing something...........

Jan 11, 2010When I get incoming calls, my screen locks and says to push the button to access functionality or whatever. How can I stop this. I noticed that someone else had this same thing happen when they were listening to music. I am not listening to music.
I do notice that it happens when my Bluetooth is on but the screen locks and won't allow me to depress the headset button and it doesn't respond to ANY button...Thus lost calls..

Jul 4, 2013I just got the Samsung Galaxy 3 which came with Jellybean going from a Droid 2 with a older version of the operating system. Is there a way to dial directly from Recent Calls without selecting the actually contact. I can't find a way to do it. I have to click the contact and then click the little green phone icon. On my old Droid the little green phone icon was all the way to the right of the contact and you could just dial the directly. Also, is there a way to make it default to Recent instead of the Keypad when you select the Phone icon. Or is there a Shortcut for Recent Calls that I can get. Again, there was a Shortcut that came with my old Droid that I was able to use.
