The keys work fine, but certain ones make a clicky or crackly sound (typically after not been used for a moment, then they're fine after being pushed). There is also a strange feeling to them to go along with the sound.

I'd like to remap some of the keys on the PHYSICAL keyboard. For example, I've never inserted a smiley in a message and don't intend to start now, so remaping the dedicated smiley key to something useful would be productive.

Maybe base it off of when the screen rotates + keyboard lights up? I would love to apply 2 seperate notifications. One for open and one for close. Anyone got an application like this in the works or know of one that would work on Samsung Moment? I know there is a notification for when you unplug the power, but I'd love to have 2 seperate from that for JUST the slider. I can't believe we can't modify seperate notification sounds custom without apps.

When opening the physical keyboard, the phone first comes out of sleep, and then switches from portrait to landscape. This is typically not too noticeable, but sometimes it takes up to 5 seconds. Is there a way to make it so that opening the keyboard just resumes this phone already in landscape? Also, has anyone figured out a way to get the home screen to respect switching to landscape when rotated, like all well-developed apps do?

A lot of the apps are on the I phone and I touch which is pretty cool. But can anyone tell me if it is possible to maybe change the phone kinda like jail breaking? View 2 Replies View RelatedI have noticed in all music apps (pandora, slacker, last.fm, mp3's) the sound on the low end is very overmodulated. It is to the point that if I am wearing headphones or using the Moment to play music in the car that the speakers are being pushed extremely hard. The low end is so cranked that no level of EQ on my sound system can get rid of the muffled sound on the low end.
It also almost sounds like my earbuds are going to blow even on low volume.
All other devices (IPod Touch, Touch Pro, Slacker portable, Hero) do not have this problem.
Is this normal for this phone and if so do you know of any apps where you can tweak the EQ of the media volume output?
Does anyone have problems with sound when playing music. I seem to be have one channel missing when I play Pandora or my personal music. It sound like one side of the songs is coming through but through both speakers. is there and equalizer app out there?
