Today I flashed XWJM8 on my Phone and it's all working perfectly, except there are no default sounds for my ringer and notification sound. The ringer is ok since I use one I downloaded anyways, but anyone knows how can I get the notifications sounds back/download them? It's hard to find a decent simple sound on the Internet.

I have a Virgin Mobile Galaxy S3 that just got the 4.4 update this morning. Afterwards it had to redownload/update nearly every app on the device as well as all my SNES and Playsation ROMs which I though was odd.
Now all the notifications for thos downloads will not go away. I've cleared them all at once, I've cleared them all individually. When I turn the screen off and then turn it back on an dunlock the phone all those notifications are back in the notification bar.
I really like the HTC Evo Theme but I don't know what its called. Can anyone tell me what it is and/or how to download it and what I need .

View 3 Replies View RelatedJust wondering if anyone has any idea about themes with Galaxo 1.6.3? I grabbed a theme from this site (which has a GREAT tutorial by the way), but whenever i try to install one, my phone will not boot following the update. I get a similar thing to if you have not restored GAPPS where the screen will just sit on the boot screen but go no further. I tried restoring GAPPS to see if that was somehow the issue, but not luck.

A lot of themes say that will only work on cyanogen mod rom and i am not that expert to make experiments with my phone. The way of setting a theme must be the same (update.zip or correct me if i am wrong). I think we can make a list here of the working themes on galaxy and maybe a how to install or modify themes to work with galaxy.

First I can't import contacts through signing into my gmail account, it wont even let me get into that window by pressing the button from the menu. So do themes have to be exactly compatible with the version of Galaxo?Also, where is "Market" on Galaxo? was that removed?

For example, if I have several different mp3 sound bytes of different people saying "You've got mail", is there an app that will randomly choose one of those sounds to play whenever I get mail?
(I've got a great notification mp3 right now but I could see it getting annoying to hear over and over again, so I'd love it if it was different from time to time)
I recently updated to Android 4.4 and have encountered a problem with setting custom notification sounds.
Every time I want to set a custom notification I get this list of Samsung sounds to choose from, instead of being asked, for instance, where I want to find the sound.
My friend, who has an LG G2 running Android 4.3 gets the following when he clicks on notification sound in Whatsapp:

I then thought to install an app that controls all notification sounds, kind of like Lightflow does notification LEDs. I found MegaSound and tried that. Gave it permission, went in, tried to set a custom notification sound for Whatsapp and was shown the same list to choose from.
Before I updated I was able to choose a wma/mp3 sound from my files on my phone to use.
Are there any themes available that change the default android 1.6 lock screen ? If so, what are they and how can I install them? I see the tutorial on how to install Galaxo, but nothing on them.
View 5 Replies View RelatedEverytime I try to download an app it goes to download and I see the download bar but upon checking notifications find Download Unsuccessful waiting for me. To top it off my apps have updates avail that will not load either.
I never rooted the phone and had no problems up till now Yes I turned off power and removed the battery to reset..

View 7 Replies View RelatedI noticed this morning that my alarm didn't make a sound when it went off this morning. Fortunately it was set to vibrate and I heard that. I than noticed it didn't ring when I received a call. I had my GF send me a txt and no sound with that either. When I go into setting to change my ringtone none of them play. The volume button beeps when I hit it and I other apps that play sounds are working fine.

Is it possible to have one tone for Yahoo a different one for GMail another for text messages ect.....? Right now the phone only has one tone for all notifications. I have notifications turned on and I do get them pushed to me when I go to other places with high-speed internet. The internet at home isn't blazing fast but isn't slow at 13 Mbps. I don't get notifications for most games and some other apps, like hangouts, where I could end up missing out on a conversation because I never got the notification. I get notifications about new emails and updates from the Play Store but that's about it. Is there something I can try or do to fix this problem and get my notifications?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI am a new owner of the HTC Hero and I tried to customize the ring tones and alarm sounds by using the directions provided by leaky on the tread "HTC Hero: Tips, Tricks & Useful Apps" but unfortunately this did not work out for my Hero. My SD card appeared as DCIM and I had to rename it to SD card and then on the MEDIA folder I added an AUDIO folder in which I added three separate files. One named ring tones, one named alarms and on named notifications as directions provided by thread. Then I added the appropriate .mp3 files to each folder while having the Hero plugged in with my PC.
