Samsung Galaxy S :: Get Notifications Sounds Back / Download Themes?
Oct 8, 2010Today I flashed XWJM8 on my Phone and it's all working perfectly, except there are no default sounds for my ringer and notification sound. The ringer is ok since I use one I downloaded anyways, but anyone knows how can I get the notifications sounds back/download them? It's hard to find a decent simple sound on the Internet.

Oct 28, 2010So about a week ago I randomly can no longer download anything from the ap store, even updates. I just get the notification, "Download unsuccessful". this is been a week now; and I've turned phone on/off...I use LauncherPro as my launcher if that even matters...but haven't really messed with any settings anywhere...I'm on a 3G good network, and hadn't had any problems downloading or updating aps in the past...any ideas?

Sep 20, 2010Some Epics appear to have issue with the market when the gmail account is added to the device. After setup they will not be able to download apps in the market. Possible fixes have been RTN and or to create new gmail account, however found this fix and tested and works.

Step 1. Go to your settings
Step 2. Select Applications
Step 3. Select Manage Applications
Step 4.Press left menu and select filter then All
Step 5. Most important
Go and scroll down to following applications and then clean the data
a) Go to Checkin Service then select clear data
b) Go to Download Manager then select clear data
c) Go to Google Apps then clear data
d) Go to Google Talk Service then select clear data
e) Go to Market then select clear cache
Final results after the above mention fix

Oct 11, 2010More than half the time, android market stalls On downloads. It gets as far as "starting download" but then nothing happens. It doesn't even time out,it just acts as if the download wasn't even happening. The problem is it's inconsistent, and then seeming goes away ion its own after 10 minutes

Oct 13, 2010Today, I set my Epic to 4G Hotspot activation. Then I setup my Apple Itouch to connect WiFi with my Epic. I ran Speedtest.net app on my Itouch. This is with my Epic connected to 4G.

Are these good speeds Hotspot? It seems like Download is kinda slow, although Upload speed seems good. With the same tower and still connected with my Itouch (but Itouch not running any program), my Epic got:

Samsung Epic 4G :: Unable To Check Gmail Nor Download Anything On Market
Nov 17, 2010I am unable to check my gmail nor download anything on the market. I am constantly having to turn my phone off and back on to get these working. Sometimes 5+ times a day. I have all of the sync options turned on and my phone still struggles to sync my gmail. This is getting quite frustrating. Anyone else having the same issues? I know a lot of people have talked about the market issues, but I haven't heard anything about anyone else having the same problems with their gmail.
