For some reason after the media hub update my notification light doesn't blink anymore, it just stays solid red? Has anyone had this issue, or have any ideas on what to do? I'm thinking about exchanging it...
View 3 Replies View RelatedAre your notification lights working? Mine doesnt seem to ever flash when i get emails or gchat messages. I have enabled it in Settings>Sound and Display, I checked off Pulse Notification Light.

I also bought my girlfriend one and the same thing happened to hers. That's four phones in three weeks. I can't be the only one that is having this issue. Anyone else? My setting for the light to pulse is checked. I have also done a factory reset.

I also notice that when i text i don't hear the typing anymore. It's just silent until i click send...Kind of weird...I'm thinking about uninstalling and re-installing handcent..

View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought 2 Epics last night was so excited! I like the phone except for a couple of things that i have noticed one of them being the wobble oreo effect that I seem to have on both phones and I just noticed I have dead pixels on both phones! I am so disappointed and don't know what to do? The pixels are one to two tiny black specks that can be seen on light background screen colors.

View 6 Replies View RelatedJust wondering if there was an app out there that uses the camera LED light as a flash light? I know there is a few for the htc phones, but haven't found one that works for the epic.
View 4 Replies View RelatedHas anybody else ever been in an SMS (Google Voice), email, or IM conversation with somebody, with your phone continually beeping every 30 seconds when you get a new message? This happens to me a lot. The phone is sitting next to me on my desk, and each time it beeps, I pick it up, push the power button, swipe to unlock, swipe down the notifications bar, and then look to see what's new. After doing this about 30 times in an hour, I have to ask myself, is this really necessary on a modern smartphone? The dumbest dumbphone I know will light up when you get a new text. Now, I have searched high and low, and am I just stupid, or is there no setting or app available to turn the screen on for like 5 seconds and display new notifications as soon as they come in?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have the Epic 4g and I am trying to see if I can get an LED light to flash when I have a new message/email. When my phone is on the counter, I find myself always having to take my screen out of sleep mode just to see if I missed a message.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhat's the status on this issue? Many of the Samsung Galaxy S phones come with a beautiful array of soft keys with LEDs that are dieing to be used as notification lights as well. For example, the T-Mobile Samsung Vibrant has 4 soft keys (menu, home, back, search). I would like to be able to set the menu key to light up at an interval of 3 seconds within the first hour of receiving a text message and light up at an interval of 5 seconds or more after the first hour of receiving a text message. Has Samsung released the necessary API? Or does Google have control over this?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm pretty sure my home screen would do landscape with keyboard closed the first couple of days I had the phone and now it wont do it unless the keyboard is out. Anyone else have the same issue?
View 6 Replies View RelatedOk the Epic is getting headphones. But does the Epic have the puzzle lock screen? FM radio? And does the music player have that cd juke box feel?
View 13 Replies View RelatedIs there a setting in LP or any apps that would allow me to toggle off and on the soft keys when a new notification comes in? Anytime I get an email or text the soft keys stay lit until I check the message.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSometimes when I shut the slider quickly the phone shuts down. Then today it did it when I set it down on a table, and when I turned it back on the battery went from 42 to 12 percent. I then reset the phone and it was at 24 percent. Is anyone else having this problem? Could the battery just be losing contact?

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhile on a call my phone vibrates and plays the tone. Is it just my phone or everyones? Is there a way I can remove or edit these settings?
View 6 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to set individual notification tones for all my contacts? I've been able to get ringtones for incoming calls figured out but I really NEED to have different tones for my texts from different contacts.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the voice mail notification on my home screen and for some reason, when there is a voice mail, there is no number next to it to advise me there is one. I am using Widget Locker if that matters. Everything else works with that.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI went to the sprint store, and I looked all over my phone for some sort of setting to get the phone to stop making the notification noise when out of service. Anyone know how to shut that off?
View 12 Replies View RelatedAm I blind, or is there no way to do this? I'm used to setting my ringer volume only, and expecting new voicemail or text message notifications to be the same volume!
View 18 Replies View RelatedEven if i choose the same ringtone for some reason the notification volume is way lower then an incoming call volume. even with all my volumes turned up. is this suppose to be like this? the guy at sprint couldn't turn it up either.
View 10 Replies View RelatedThe problem I'm having is when ever I set a default notification tone it plays good and loud when I test it but when I actually get a text the volume drops below half making it very hard to hear the phone when ever I get a text. Is there a reason its doing this? I have the notification all the way up and it still drops when I get a text. At first I thought it was a issuse with handcent sms but its doing it with the default messaging app as well. Is anyone else having this problem?
View 2 Replies View RelatedHow can I make it not play the full notification sound while on a phone call?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am pretty sure when I got my first few texts with handcent the screen lit up, but now it stays black when receiving a text. Is that how it is supposed to be?
View 5 Replies View Relatedcan you have separate sounds for email and txt messages? Currently seems to be lumped together.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWith out using an app from Android Market or any kinds of side loaded apps, is there any way to add our own Email and text notification sounds? I have already created a "notification" folder on my phone and tried to load my own sounds but the phone would not see my sounds...
