Samsung Epic 4G :: Phone Makes Noises When I Make Call
Sep 9, 2010My Epic makes three loud beeps every time I make a call, and its rather annoying. Does anyone else's phone do this?

HTC Incredible :: Camera Makes Clicking Noises
Aug 26, 2010I see similar threads says this is normal for the Moto Droid. Anyone have this with their Dinc? Is it okay? It never did that until I had to remove my cover a handful of times during one day. It does it when it first turns on, if I change between taking a photo and viewing photos, etc. I want to be sure I didn't break it or something.

Jul 21, 2010Whenever I plug my car charger into my evo and play it through an auxiliary cable through my speakers I hear a buzzing sound through the speakers. (like a bad ground sound). I know it is my charger, because as soon as i touch the charger to the phone the sound starts. Does everyone else have this same problem or is it just my phone? (I am using a bestbuy rocketfish usb car charger)

Sep 5, 2010In pitch darkness I want my screen to be really dim,in order not to get the glare etc. However even when adjusting the screen brightness level to its lowest it is still very bright for a dark light setting. Is there any way, maybe through an app, that I can make the Epic even dimmer?

Sep 2, 2010I got my phone today, but I'm having an issue with the earpiece speaker rattling. It makes a high pitched buzzing sound basically. Does anyone else have this problem? If I press on the grill covering the speaker it seems to go away. I'm planning on taking it to a Sprint store to compare.
Let me know if you have any thoughts.
Samsung EPIC 4G :: Rebooted During Phone Call
Sep 1, 2010I was talking on the phone, and another call came in (call waiting). Suddenly, my phone just restarted itself. Fortunately the reboot time is very fast, but of all the bugs to possibly run into on any cell phone, the scariest is the idea of dropping calls. I am convinced this may be a software glitch that will get fixed with an update.

Sep 16, 2010Does anyone else get bad quality at medium to higher volumes through normal calls (not speakerphone). Anything over two notches from muted gives me a wierd vibrating noise when the other end is talking semi high pitched and consistently. It sounds almost robotic or like paper. I didnt know if this was just my phone, the majority, or all epics suffer from this problem.

Nov 21, 2010So I've been on the fence regarding the Epic or Evo for awhile now and have been going back and forth. Overall, I think the specs of the Epic win-out but the support (both HTC and community) for Evo is far superior. All of the debates about hardware and I havn't been able to find any real comparison regarding call quality. Since I actually plan to talk on the phone, what do those of you have one or the other or both have to say about sound/call quality? Ultimately, I think this will be the most important factor in my decision.

Currently it is using the "On Time" tone, but when I change the notification ringtone, nothing changes. I can change the notification volume, which makes "On Time" louder, but I would like a different sound.

Sep 10, 2010Has anyone had this happen to them? You place a call, and when you're done you attempt to hit the big red "END" button, but nothing happens? I've actually had the call counter tick off an extra 20-30 seconds before it hangs up.
Given that this is the main screen and not one of the capacitive buttons, I find this behavior very strange.
