I'm listening to Pandora and I go to my home page. If I rotate the phone, or even set it on my desk, the phone makes an annoying sound that interrupts my music. I turned off system sounds and I still get the noise. Any ideas on what I can do to get rid of that annoying noise.

What i did but now my phone makes an annoying type writing sound when i text. I looked though everything and cant find what turns it off. And also the spell check when u type is off too how do i turn that back on?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI find the camera sound very annoying on my phone, and even if it's on silent, it plays the camera sound. This is how to remove the camera sound.
1. Using a file explorer, I recommend es file explorer or root explorer, go to /system/media/audio/ui and there you will see 2 camera files.
2. Copy and Paste them into your sd card, then delete them from /system/media/audio/ui
3. This will keep your phone from making the camera noise.
Has anyone else noticed that the "-" button just makes the "_" symbol? It's annoying me that I can't hyphenate a name. Am I missing something?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI got my phone today, but I'm having an issue with the earpiece speaker rattling. It makes a high pitched buzzing sound basically. Does anyone else have this problem? If I press on the grill covering the speaker it seems to go away. I'm planning on taking it to a Sprint store to compare.

I have an issue with my desk cradle app. It somehow magically is now linked to my home button. Everytime I press the home button, my desk cradle app starts. It does it even though I restart and do a battery pull. I do have the desk cradle that I use. Has anyone seen this before, and is there a simple fix for it? thank you.
Lemme start by saying I was finally able to figure out how to sync my fascinate with the music on my computer. It took a while but I did eventually figure it out.But now I'm having a very strange problem. I'm unable to mount the phone when I connect it to my computer.The problem is whenever I plug the phone into the computer the phone doesn't recognize a USB connection.So I can't go in and tell it to mount. The weird part is that if I just plug the phone into the wall to charge that's when I get the USB notification that I've connected to a USB.Somewhere my phone has mixed the two inputs up.

One day the speaker phone went out and I called the rep and they did not have a fix, so they sent me a replacement phone. The sound quality on my old phone was fine. A bit tinny at times but OK. But the replacement blows it away. I didn't even send it back for that, it was just an added bonus. So for those of you with sound issues. May want to get a replacement and see if its better?

Anyways when I put my phone down it makes a slight rattle, after inspecting closer I noticed that when I tap around the camera area it also makes a slight rattle. Note: You may have to enable Mass Storage to complete these steps.
1. Connect the Fascinate to your computer with the included USB cable.
2. Slide down the notification panel at the top of the screen.
3. Tap USB connected.
4. Tap Mount.
5. On the computer, open the drive that represents your device. It should be in My Computer/Computer for
Windows users or the Finder for Mac users.
6. Make a folder named Music (not required but recommended for organizational purposes.)
7. Copy the music files over to the Music folder. Supported formats are:
AAC
AAC+
AMR-NB
AMR-WB
EVRC
MIDI
MP3
QCELP
SP-MIDI
WAV
WMA
8. After copying music, swipe the Notification panel down, tap USB storage, then tap Unmount.
Now you're ready to enjoy your copied music files right on your Samsung Fascinate.
When I plug my fascinate into my comp, the memory card wont show up under devices with removable storage?What am I doing wrong? I want to be ably to put all my divx vids on it!

I know my BBerry would advance songs by holding the "up" volume toggle for a few seconds but that doesnt seem to work.
