Looking at the NESoid emulator in the app store.Is it worth the price tag? I hear it's a little slow, anyone have problems with this? Also, is it worth it to get the ROM buddy to download the Roms?

When I select a game to play in the nesoid app it just force quits and goes to my home screen.

What does all this mean? For the internet part, I have limited data per month, will it really add up...I have 200 MB/month.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe Game Boy Color was one of my favorite handheld game systems and my favorite video game ever, Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, was on this system. However, I was a bit surprised to see that there was only one GBC emulator on the Market, which was paid and didn't have good reviews. Does anyone know if there is a better GBC emulator being developed or if there is someone on this forum who loved the GBC, maybe you could make one(because I have no coding skills whatsoever)

I noticed that both of them are rated 5 stars so its harder for me to decide. I'm wondering if anyone has download them and if they prefer a certain one. Also if anyone has good websites to download the games off of that would be great.

View 1 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know if there has been a multitouch mod yet for NESoid on the Nexus One? Its so tough to use when you have to continually take your fingers off of the screen. Also, is there a way to change the button layout? right now the A and B buttons are on the left and right side of the phone, making it really difficult to use both at the same time. Also, please dont post anything on here about games because i dont want them to close the thread on me. Just answer the technical questions or voice concerns or whatever, dont mention any games or roms or anything of that nature.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have two emulators, SNESoid and NESoid. When I load either, if I don't disable all sounds, the sound is very choppy/distorted and the game is boggy. I've played around a bit with the frame rate settings, but to no avail it seems. Does anyone know of any potential settings in the program or in the phone settings that could be causing this, and what I might try to fix them? Thanks

Most reviews i've seen for Snesoid that have been positive, the person had something like the Evo or incredible. Is there anything i can do to make Snesoid run well? Does getting the paid version of snesoid help? Getting another phone is not a solution.

My concern is that previously when I would download PC roms & emulators the source sites were always loaded with smut, malicious software, and other goodies you surely want on your computers. View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a square grid, for a turn based game ( grid is similar to the chess board ), but the moves in the games are different based on whether you have lapped your opponent pawn at least once or not.i.e if you have not lapped (beaten any of the opponents pawns) in the outer most grid as below.if you have lapped your opponent pawn once at least, then you get to reach home,this way.Any player having all his pawns reaching "home" first wins.The ones in yellow are safe-houses, i.e both the opponent pawn and the player's pawn get to stay in the same grid, this is not considered to be lapping ( the opponent ).The lapped pawn will return to its start point.Now the question is, what is the effective way to store the paths for the all the pawns.we will have 4 pawns for the player and 4 opponent pawns.Is there any pattern to store such static information, in a elegant way?

For example when someone exits I want them to be able to save and exit, then come back and click continue to pick up where they left off with all of the graphics in the right place, timer and score. I looked at onSaveInstanceState android examples, but not sure if this is what I need or how to implement it in my case.
