Nov 23, 2009I'm trying to guess why a user would report "Force quits every time I load" the problem does not occur for all users, especially not me.The system constructs a database when it first loads. I suspect that user's phone does not have enough memory.Questions: How can I verify that the system has enough memory to store a small database?

Jan 6, 2010For some reason my Eris refuses to allow me to select a default ringtone. I can select a ringtone from the list and listen to it, but when a call comes in, I get 2 Step, the first ringtone in the list. I've rebooted and removed the battery, but neither of these fixed the problem. I called Verizon tech support and was told to enter Settings from Apps, which I did and it actually worked...once. Now, it's failing solid.

Jul 26, 2010The other day I took a trip, put my X in the car dock, and set Nav to my destination. About an hour into my trip, Nav would intermittently close, and would return to the home screen. However, the app wasn't always completely FC'd, but running in the background, and could be returned to by dragging down the Notification bar and reselecting it. This continued for the last 2 hours of my trip and was extremely annoying. Has anyone else experienced this?

May 10, 2010For the past week or so I've been having issues with the bottom left corner of my touch screen (in portrait). If I am typing a text I cant select the letter Z or the shift/caps key. I also have a hard time selecting shortcuts in that corner. I am running the 1st 2.1 leak if that makes any difference. Is anyone experiencing touchscreen issues that may have any solutions or should I get a replacement? Does anyone think the OTA might fix this? BTW, I've calibrated my phone several times to no avail. It also happens in landscape but it shifts to the bottom right corner of course!

Mar 24, 2010I have been running the old leaked version of 2.1 on my phone since the day it was leaked. Today I installed the "new" leak, and now when I restart my phone I get an error saying, "the process com.htc.bg has to close due to an unexpected error." Then it makes me force close the process. My questions are, 1) does anyone know what this process is for? and 2) How do you suggest I fix this issue? Should I re-download from a different mirror? Feb 2, 2010where my calendar would force close several times a day (when syncing). I finally found a solution. I had installed android agenda widget a while back and that was causing the problem. I uninstalled it today, but the problem wasn't fixed until I cleared out the data in my calendar (menu, settings, manage applications, then click on com.android.providers.calendar and clear out the data) and re synced it with google. Just in case you are wondering, I then reinstalled android agenda widget and the problem returned. Uninstalled it again, recleared my data and now it syncs perfectly to my google account.
