Samsung Captivate :: Can't Use Ringdroid To Change Notification Ringtone To Music / Fix It
Oct 25, 2010I used ringdroid to try to change my notification ringtone to music and it wasn't working does anyone know how to fix this?

Samsung Captivate :: Notification Ringtone Sucks / Still Plays "cloud" Ringtone - Change It?
Sep 11, 2010After applying SRE v1.2.3 (…… SRE v1.2.3… | Root + OC 1.2GHz + MobileAP + USB Tether + LagFix - xda-developers), my notification ringtone sucks. I have changed it many times but it still plays the "cloud" ringtone. Any ideas?

Jul 27, 2010I always create calendar appointments with an alarm. A few days ago I went to Settings/Sound and Display/Notification Ring tone and set it to "on time". Maybe a day or two later I created my own notification ring tone and set it in settings. The ring tone works fine in Astrid and Nudist. However, the calendar notifications still use the "on time" ring tone. I even tried changing the notification ring tone to "tweeters" but calendar still uses "on time", even after multiple reboots.

Nov 29, 2010I am having trouble hearing the beeps that are heard for incoming calls when I am listening to music. Is there anyway to change this to something more obvious?
Either making it louder and the music playing quieter, or even pausing the music and notifcation sounds or ringtone playing would be good. I cant seem to find a fix. I am missing many calls like this.
Samsung Captivate :: Change Ringer And Notification Volume Together
Aug 3, 2010One of the things I find annoying about the Captivate is the separate volumes for rings and notifications. When I lower the volume with the volume rocker switch, it only lowers the ring volume. Is there a way to set a global volume so that changing the volume changes ALL volumes together?

Jan 28, 2010Hey all, so I just got a Samsung Galaxy finally in the mail. It took long enough to figure out how to put music on it, then use my music for ringtones. But when I am in Settings for Notification Ringtones, I do not see the mp3 I added but only in Calling Ringtones. Why is this? I want to use the same ringtone for notifications too!.

Dec 13, 2009It seems like the Music Player saves the ringtone to internal memory while Ringdroid saves it to sd card.I created several thru Ringdroid and set for contact ringtones and they only worked occasionally.Most times I would get default ringtone.I removed them from sd card and created a few with Music Player and I dont see them on sd card but they do show up in the ringtones list.Hopefully they now work better being internal.Does anyone know how I could delete a ringtone from internal memory?

Nov 6, 2010I just got this phone and the ringtones for the messages worked fine than it all of a suddent switched to the "cloud" notification for when i get messages and i cant get it off of that, no other notification tone will work they all use the "cloud" ringtone i never have even selected it. so how can i get it to use a different notification or reset it, what did i do wrong i have selected other tones but none stay, i press select than i push "ok" and i get a message and it uses cloud. why? please help me out much appreciated.

No ringtones, no notifications, no mp3s, no sound on videos...calls show up and you can answer, talk and be heard, just no audio other than that.
Media volume up full.
Ringer volume up full.
Notification volume up full.
System volume up full.
Not on silent.
Not on vibrate.
Haven't tried it with a bluetooth headset because she doesn't use one.
Hasn't dropped it...nothing like that.
