View 1 RepliesOMG, this thing freaking vibrates rough! I don't care, except that when I'm on the phone and get a notification, I can't hear the person talking because of the vibration. Any way to turn the intensity down?
View 9 Replies View RelatedWell the vibration that my phone is on right now is kind of bad so I decided that I wanted to change it, but I couldn't change the level of the Vibration Intensity because its grayed out for some reason. Grayed out meaning that it's un clickable. Any way to fix this? I'm pretty sure that I'm going to end up looking stupid.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm not sure if this has been done on the other Android phones, but since people are mentioning the flash tends to be too strong at distances less than 4ft. Is there any way to turn the intensity down? I'm not sure if there's an app/hack for that or if it's simply not possible to control that within Android at all.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to change my vibration intensity, but I can't find how.it's supposed to be on Settings - Sounds - Vibration Intensity.Well, I don't have such a "Vibration Intensity" option (and it's not inside "Volume"). Screenshot:

Anyone figured out how to make the Menu, Home, Back and Search buttons brighter or stay on longer? The buttons on my girlfriend's Vibrant are bright as hell!
View 1 Replies View RelatedNoticed since I work in a rather quiet environment. During office hours I need to keep it on vibrate mode. When the phone vibrates during a call, it causes a severe rattling noise when the phone is in my hands or if the bottom is not resting against a hard object. Removing the battery compartment cover and repeat, and the rattle is non existent. With the battery cover on, the rattle can be diminished by pressing firmly on the top section of the cover.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there anyway to adjust the audio level out of the Captivate? When I hooked it up to my car stereo to play Pandora, I had to max out the volume on the car stereo just to be able to hear it. I don't listen to music at outrageous levels. If I listen to a CD or the radio, the volume level is between 10 and 25. With the Captivate it is 40 and still not as loud as the radio.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSuch that it is only on for the navigation buttons (capacitive touch buttons at the bottom) and not anywhere else (i.e. not on the keyboard)? I prefer typing without haptic feedback but I don't want to turn it completely off because it becomes even harder to see if a bottom navigation button responded with it off.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I put my phone on vibrate it is to avoid annoying other people. But I feel that the vibration strength on most phones is too high, and although I won't be receiving my Captivate until Friday, I'd like to know if there is an option to do this, with or without root.
View 4 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know if it's possible to disable the vibration feedback from the Samsung keyboard? Disabling haptic feedback works, but that effects the entire phone (i.e. long presses and home keys).
View 2 Replies View RelatedI got my phone on Monday and I've noticed that when somebody is talking to me on the phone it causes a vibration type noise. I've tried lowering the volume but it still seems to be doing it. Not to mention, even with the audio turned all the way up it's hard to hear the people I'm talking to.

I've got the MSL for my phone, and tried ##DATA#, Advanced.. but its not in there like most phones.
Somehow my vibrations have all gone away. I made sure the vibration effect is set to normal, which it is. It must have been an app I installed that disabled it. Currently using Open Home with Hero skin, weather widgets, and Swype keyboard. Anyone have this issue or is something I can easily fix in the settings?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI have two constant issues on my Epic-I've been ignoring them for a month but there must be a fix & I could really use your help! Also it would be good to hear from others who are seeing the same things so I know I am not completely insane...
1 - My screen brightness seems to adjust up on its own... To increase battery life I have it set all the way down...but, for example, as I was typing this post the brightness increased on its own... Any ideas?
2 - My voice recognition stops working all the time...not with one app either... Resetting my profile seems to fix it for about 5 minutes but it doesn't take long for it to go TU again
I found how to adjust the haptic vibration feedback sensitivity but not the ringer vibration, where is the setting for that?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was in a meeting and set the phone to vibration mode via the notification panel. I noticed that the phone will only vibrate if a call comes in, but not SMS. Is this correct? Cause in my previous phone, so long as I am in vibration mode, every event (call, SMS, reminder, email etc) will cause the phone to vibrate.
View 8 Replies View RelatedIs it possible to make the keypad on the phone not vibrate? I have haptic feedback disabled and the only two things that vibrate are the unlock (which I dont mind) and the keypad on the phone. I would really love to turn that off. Does anyone know if this is possible?

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I went to the beach with friends this weekend and had my phone in a ziploc bag along with other items. Well, it seems that one of my friends went into the bag to get something and had their hands completely wet. About one hour later I went to check the time on the phone and there was about two inches of water in it. I immediately removed the battery, SIM card and sd card and left it out to dry.
Got home some time later and did the rice trick and left it there for the entire weekend (just switched its position every 8 hours). Tried to turn it on this morning and it powers up, makes sounds and vibrates but the screen doesn't come on. If I touch the screen in some spots I still get vibration feedback and sounds but nothing else.
I keep my phone near my head on my bed, since I use it as an alarm clock. Unfortunately the Vibrant is vibrating at the end of the charge cycle, which is distracting when I'm trying to fall asleep!
I can't find a setting to turn this off. I have haptic feedback turned off. I keep the phone in vibrate mode (ringer volume = vibrate).
