since the Nexus One has more screens then other Androids... does it require a bigger size picture for the wallpaper? or it automatically fits whatever size picture you transfer into your SD card?

(1.5!) When I take a picture, the resulting image has more content then i saw on the preview. To clarify: Say i'm looking at something with lines, and while looking at the preview i see line 4 to 10. After taking the picture it suddenly is clear i've shot lines 5 to 11. I'm trying to sync something I draw ontop of the view (a line-drawing) with what i'm photographing, and I can't get it to match like this. The newest example has some extra code involving "getSupportedPreviewSizes". I can't use this because of the API version: I'm coding for min. 3, and that one is from 5.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to play the bigger size audio wav file(which is >20 mb) using the following code(AudioTrack) on my Android 1.6 HTC device which basically has less memory. But i found device crash as soon as it executes reading, writing and play. But the same code works fine and plays the lesser size audio wav files(10kb, 20 kb files etc) very well.
P.S: I should play PCM(.wav) buffer sound, the reason behind why i use AudioTrack here. Though my device has lesser memory, how would i read bigger audio files bytes by bytes and play the sound to avoid crashing due to memory constraints. Code...
Could someone guide me please to play the AudioTrack code for bigger size wav files?
I have a picture that i want as my background on the EVO but the thing is that I don't want it to take up all seven screens just the home screen. The rest of the screens could have a black background for all I care. So my question is HOW do i do this or go about doing this. If it helps I will also post the picture of what I want as my wallpaper.

Here is the problem i want to set the whole picture as the wallpaper but when you set as on the eris a box pops up the picture and you have to adjust it. I don't want that I want the whole dam picture. Are you guys having trouble. I found a website that has wallpaper with correct size but when i send it to myself i have to adjust the picture with that dang box.

I think this save-check-delete operation is not reasonable. I prefer to check the size of android.graphics.picture. If the size is too large, I should not save to local. But I checked android.graphics.picture, it only have getHeight and getWidth member functions.

My DInc takes great pictures in the day, and my so-so night pics can now be fixed to look quite decent. Anyway, question is this. When I chose to get a picture to edit, it asked me what size I wanted for it. I chose maximum size and chose the option to always pick that size. I normally take pics in 8 megs, will a photo edited by Picsay be lower in quality than the original, or just about the same? Also, is there any way I can default the app to just ask me what size I want to edit pics in? (Rather than maximum size being the default)

When i choose the picture to set as my wallpaper, it asks me to crop the picture which is all ok.... But then once the wallpaper is set, it's spread across all 7 pages. I then want to transfer them to my phone and when I try to view them on my phone, I get the broken picture icon. The phone's largest picture that it will take is 4128x3096. The pictures I am transferring are 4608x3456. Is this the reason why I can not view these pics on my phone? I transferred with media setting and camera setting when the phone was hooked up to the PC. It gave me the same result with the broken pic icon.
