Jul 23, 2010What is the resolution for the LG Eve? I thought it was the screen resolution but it's more of a widescreen type picture. Does anyone know what the resolution is?

Aug 8, 2010Recently my phone only shows my pictures in low resolution until I zoom in a tiny bit, then suddenly it sharpens into the full quality image. Is it suddenly displaying low res thumbnails for my images until I try looking at them? It never did this before, and it's not a 2.2 change as it started doing it a day or two before I updated it.

Dec 31, 2009I read that 960x854 should be the right resolution. I did with Gimp an image with that size, copied it to the sd card and set it as wallpaper. What a wonderful surprise when the android tried to crop it. So, I guess, 960x854 is not the right resolution. any insight?

Here is the problem i want to set the whole picture as the wallpaper but when you set as on the eris a box pops up the picture and you have to adjust it. I don't want that I want the whole dam picture. Are you guys having trouble. Jul 18, 2010I bought myself the HTC Wildfire about a week back. I have a few questions regarding the wallpaper and the lock screen resolution.
The Wildfire screen resolution is 240x320. What should the ideal resolution be for my lock screen and wallpaper images?
When I set a 240x320 image as wallpaper or lock screen it appears very pixelated. However, when using resolutions of 640x480 and above, the wallpaper looks great but the lock screen is still pixelated. Also, when selecting the lock screen image I can't select the whole thing. Parts always get cropped.
Somehow the HTC backgrounds that are present on the phone don't look as pixelated although they are of a lower resolution.

General :: Setting Wallpaper - Picture Suddenly Appears With Lower Quality
Dec 7, 2013I want to set this picture as my Wallpaper. The problem is, when I select "Set As", the picture suddenly appears with a lower quality.
Here's the picture as it is, and then after I press on "Set As".
As you can see, in the second picture, the wallpaper has a lower quality. I didn't zoom in or anything, but somehow I cannot get the best quality (shown as I see it in my gallery), as soon as I try to set it as my wallpaper, the quality lowers.

After I set the picture or whatever and crop it, I return to the home screen and the Colorful Bubble HTC Wallpaper always shows up instead, only the live wallpaper really works all the time.
