The stock calendar on my Dinc is acting up. When I add an event and want to edit it at a later date it often will not let me change the date and/or time. It also mysteriously duplicates the event at times. Also when I open my calendar and search for an event it will always show the event as listed the day before the actual event.

I did a search but cant seem to find an answer. I finally got my work email set up through active sync. Is there a way to get the calendar events to show up on my google calendar? I use calendar pro which I love. I don't know if there is a work around or I am just not knowledgable enough to understand it. A for instance would be that my work email gives me an event or invite...it will show up on the phones calendar but not on my google calendar/events. (my google notification each morning may say "no events scheduled for the day" but phone calendar/calendar pro will show it)

Is there any way to see more than one appointment without opening up the full calendar? You would think if you have multiple appointments in a day that you'd be able to flip through them from the widget, but you can't from what I can tell.
I feel like an idiot for not being able to figure this out, but how do I sync my google account calendar with my phones calendar?
View 35 Replies View RelatedAnyone know how to fix the glitch between incredible's calendar and google's calendar.I've read a lot of the posts online and tried all the suggestions.I can post online at my calendar on google and it will sync with htc's calendar on my incredible.I can even delete the same entry off of my incredible and it will delete off of google's online calendar. The problem I have is nothing posted on the htc calendar syncs with my google calendar online.

However, when I make a 'phone only' appointment, with NO reminder, I'm not alerted to the actual appointment that I made. Absolutely nothing.
Is this 'by design', which I very much doubt, or a possible flaw in the application itself?
I noticed that when I'm in Event Details and press Menu, it'll only give me:
Add reminder
Delete Event
Share vCalendar
Agenda
But no "Edit Event". In order to edit an event I have to long press while in the Agenda or Day View listing. Anyone else noticed this? I swore on 2.1 "Edit Event" was an option.
The 1 by 4 HTC calendar widget has my dates one day behind. Had it on 1.5 thru all leaks. Is there any fix, does the ota fix this. Don't really want ant other widgets.

View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently started trying out ADW and LauncherPro, and the one thing Ive noticed is that when I add a widget/app to a page I can no longer seem to get it to fullscreen like it came stock.
On my sense layout, the calendar is a full page display of the month, whereas now when I try to add it it shows up as a small 2x2 notepad date that I have to click to get to the full month. Its the same with the stock music player. I small widget compared to the near fullscreen one Ive been used to.

Entries manually made now, say 7/4 (prior to the 'cutoff' I am seeing in the calendar app) appear immediately in the phone. Any ideas why I am missing all this data? I've tried re-syncing w/ no luck.

so i got my new Nexus 5, set it all up.find that the stock calendar app is still hit or miss as to whether it decides to show items in the calendar.i had my old nexus 4 sitting next to it and the nexus 5 wasn't showing an item that the nexus 4 was (this item was also showing on the web version of the calendar).i then scroll thru and the nexus 5 shows an item that the nexus 4 doesn't.
this really makes the calendar app un-usable, as you are never sure if it's 100% accurate or not!
one example of a missing item is from a holidays calendar that i added via the google calendars list.now it isn't EVERY item from that calendar that is missing, it's the odd one or two.
another instance of missing items is from the birthdays calendar, again some as above, some show some don't.
so it this something that i just need to live with (ie do others see this?)or is there some fix? this is a brand new nexus 5 with a fresh setup.
Can anyone please help me port the Hibernate feature that is in the new SkyRaider 3.3 ROM, and for the Desire. I am very interested in getting this feature on either RMK's new stock leak ROM or the 2.2 OTA stock ROM. Yes I know about the 3-1 reboot option along with hot boot. but im really interested in porting this over to a stock ROM for us. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a strange problem on my HTC one (stock rom) which cropped up shortly after taking the most recent update from Verizon.
In short, my Google Calendar is now crashing every time I refresh it in the calendar (i.e., pull down on a calendar day). Even with my all accounts set to NOT sync with Calendar and my calendar data cleared, it STILL crashes constantly. A screenshot of the crash is below. I have not installed any new apps or done anything "interesting" other than receive the VZW update. I live and die by my calendar, so this is a gigantic problem for me.
Here's specifically what I've tried to do to fix this and what happens:
1) Disabled syncing of my 2 gmail accounts to this calendar.
2) Force-stopped the calendar app
3) Cleared the calendar data
4) Verified there are no events shown on the calendar UI
5) Opened calendar and either wait a bit, or pull down to refresh.
6) Receive "Unfortunately, Calendar has stopped"
The crash is always the same: "TimeFormatException,Unexpected character 0x5a at pos=8. Expected T.,Time.java,-2"
