I googled everywhere and couldn't find the correct answer for my problem. I pulled a pinheaded move by after rooting my phone, I wanted to put teenface's black notification bar. I put the 2 files from the zip (into my SDcard. I turned off my phone and now I am stuck in a boot loop.

i have a samsung galaxy S1 with cyanogenmod, and i don't know what happened but when i turn on the phone it just stay on the loading screen, something like this : just a black screen with that little loading icon in it (without animation) i tried running both recovery and downloading mode (V+/v-,menu,Power) but nothing works too, and there is another strange behavior, sometimes, it show me the "Downloading.... do not turn off target !!! " message, when it is in that screen, the pc does recognies the samsung driver but i have no access to it, and Odin doesn't find the device
View 10 Replies View RelatedI have serious problem with this android mobile phone. it is pretty good phone very useful with dual sim function one of them is 3G with WiFi Hotspot but the problem that I have rooted the phone with superoneclick and I have installed a lot of apps in it modifying some language files then when I restart the phone to let the changes take effect then the mobile keep restarting for infinite. Tried to get in to the recovery mode by using Call Button+Volume up+Power but the screen became blank. I spent the whole day searching the the internet to find the solution but with no clue. the problem the device is new and not supported that much in the public forums. could not find Stock Rom. Huawei website and bulletin was not useful.
Is there any way to do it through USB or sdcard and How?
I have a ZEN ultrafone 701 HD (MTK 6589) device with HD screen.
Things were going fine when this Fine day I got a bright idea to change ROM.
I have a rooted Phone with working CWM, so went into recovery and cleared data/cache/dalvik cache,battery log etc.
Then I did a epic goof up by clicking on the ROM file of a different device to install as ZIP from CWM . by the time i realized, it was too late Now the phone boots up, shows logo and reboots,again and again. a previously working key combination to bring diagnostic mode is now not working.
The phone starts up and reboots so fast the PC cannot detect the device in adb mode. perfect aint it ?
I did something stupid and tried to put the Galaxy S status bar on the D2 without realizing it is for the X. Now it's stuck in an endless bootloop. What should I do? I was trying to do the D2 2.2 SBF but how do I connect since it keeps rebooting? EDIT: Found some info online during my panic. Allowed me to start the SBF, hopefully it works. "Power on holding the power key and the Up arrow key on the keyboard. After the M logo appears, release the two keys. That will put your Droid into the bootloader, then you can connect it to your PC via USB and use the SBF post to bring your phone back to normal."

I want to just custom recovery restore to the deodexed ROM here (Droid X 2.2 Froyo Deodexed and Ready For Themes) but cannot because I get the following error every time I try to restore a backup from custom recovery: "e:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0 device or resource busy.I think I found out that it is because this Koush recovery is the original 2.1 version, so I need the 2.2 one.Two things:-Where do I get this 2.2 newer version? View 12 Replies View RelatedLast nigt i rebooted my phone to recovery to reflash ROM,did it and now it only boots in recovery even if im not pressing menu key...I could boot to download but without pressing menu key so i flashed stock firmware but still it only boots in recovery.When im in recovery i can move UP,DOWN using volume keys but menu key does not work,when i press it nothing happens...i think that that menu key is somehow stuck but it works normally when i press it i can hear "click" that makes but does nothing.
Got CWM 5.0.2.8 and run key test all keys work(volume up,down,menu key,back key) except main menu key got nothing on output when pressed main menu key
I was rooted and decided to unroot for giggles. After i did I went to root again and now I am getting this: "E: cant open/cache/recovery,command " When I reboot into recovery mode.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI rooted my phone a couple weeks back. I backed up my apps with titanium pro and downloaded ROM manager. I clicked "reboot into recovery mode" from ROM manager and the phone went into recovery.
I am now stuck. I have four options:
1. reboot system now
2. apply update from SD card
3. wipe data/factory reset
4. wipe cache partition
I tried option one and clicked the button on the right side of the phone (the "enter" button), but nothing happens. In fact, none of the options do anything. seems like the phone isn't recognizing the enter button.
I have not flashed clockwork mod recovery. I think it probably requires some type of reboot but i don't know the steps.
I try to install the kitkat 4.4 on my nexus 4 and now i stuck on recovery mode.
i see this:

Now I am stuck in the loop of CWM Recovery mode. The tablet only opens recovery mode and desn't boot normally. I triesd to flash a new ROM but it says

I'm roooted. I downloaded bootstrap and the first thing i did was create a nandroid back up for my x. then i proceeded to try and install tranquility rom. it got stuck in a bootloop. so when i rebooted into recovery it now goes for some reason to the droid stock recovery and i can't revert back to my back up. what do i do?!

View 7 Replies View RelatedProbably a very simple fix here, but I can't figure it out. I deleted a few roms off of my sd card to make room for the new warm 2.2 release and went to flash it. For some reason, when I'm in the boot screen, I select recovery, but it doesn't boot into the actual recovery mode anymore, it goes to another white screen which I think is the fastboot screen.

I don't have install .zp from sd card option ?? And when i click apply update from sd card it shows this error :
E:failed to mount /sdcard (No such file or directory)
E:Can't mount /sdcard
Install from sdcard complete
So when m in download mode my computer doesn't show that anything is connected.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've rooted my samsung galaxy mega 6.3 GT-I9205 but I got stuck in a boot loop after trying to change my boot logo using a app called root tools. Before that everything with root worked fine.So I tried recovering the phone by going into recovery mode and wiping all of my data/factory reset and also wiping my cache. Both of these thing did not work.
So after that I went into download mode and tried to instal something I believe CWM. But now I can't even go into recovery mode because when I try, the phone says that it's going into recovery mode and then just reboots... and goes into a bootloop.
i was doing standard stuff on my rooted samsung galaxy pocket, it had low battery so it ran out.I connected it to a charger, let it sit for few seconds and tried to start it.
it showed battery image for half-a-second and s5300 start up screen appeared, stayed there for approx three seconds and phone rebooted,and it did this again and again.Without charger it didn't even start. I connected it to a charger again and it was charging up for few hours - and something different happens.Phone now starts without charger,still s5300 screen,but then it goes black(screen doesn't go off,it is still on but with black pixels . Recovery mode doesn't even load,downloading mode seems to work,but i didn't download anything.
I'm trying to add a widget and I followed directions to go to Menu > Add, only add isn't selectable. It's there, but "greyed out" ... not sure why or how.

1-reboot system now

underneath is the message
e: can't open /cache/recovery/command. without a restore option, i cannot change mod's or kernels--or if i can, i don't know how. i've tried to flash sprecovery from rom manger, but the menu options do not change. any ideas how i can solve this issue?
After using Rom Manager to boot into recovery, what buttons do I press to access the menus? On the Droid X you press the search button. What's the magic button or combo for Droid? I'm trying to clear the cache...

I am not deodexed, but I heard that you could apply some of the rom modifications without any problems. So I did one, and it was ok. I decided to try a different one and thats when I ran into a problem. My phone is stuck at the M logo now and I am not sure how to fix it. I could have sworn that i made a recovery before I installed the .zip but when i went in to try to recover it said there was nothing there. My one savior is that I have the SBF file I need, but I am on a mac so I can not use at the moment and would like to avoid this at all costs. Does anyone have any suggestions for me or will I need to SBF? Also, i have not let it sit at the M logo for an extremely long period of time, is it possible that it will pull around and start to load properly or is there definitely a problem?

I also have the custom color off now too. I also have Missed Call. I used it to set a color for the SMS LED, but it still does not work.

Yet today I saw my phone was rebooting - and waited (figured it over heated or some such..) and waited... And waited... That android boot image does stop being cute after a while... Crap.. Just cycling... Go into recovery... Umm.. No seriously.. Go into recovery.... Go on.... Nope. (apparently latest ROM MAnager screwed up CWmod..) So... Can't load my phone... Can't restore backup..
