Motorola Droid X :: Internet Very Slow / Unable To Download
Sep 14, 2010For some reason my x loads webpages very very slow. I know its not my area because my buddies droid 1 is fine. Sometimes mine wont load at all. Any ideas?

Motorola Droid :: Internet Slow
Dec 4, 2009I'm sitting next to my girlfriend in class right now and we both attempt to look at our internet banking. I was able to pull mine up, then hers up before her banking home page would even load. I tried the google homepage and it seems to take even longer than most other websites. I would think of all sites to go slow, google.com would not be one of them. Anyone have any ideas as to why my browser loads pages so much faster than hers?

Aug 29, 2010I dont know if its something i did or what, but my 3G is slower than dialup right now. However when i run speed test I am getting ~1.3-1.5mbps. Simply mobile web pages take forever to load.
I recently wiped (sbf-->root-->2.2). Any advice on trouble shooting this?

Sep 24, 2010Have any if of you guys been experiencing this kind of slow laggy delayed scrolling while on internet? I am running launcher pro and started noticing this effect after getting the 2.2 froyo update. 2.2 doesn't seem to impressive. Other than the flash capability. I could careless for it.

Nov 25, 2009Maybe I'm late, but I just discovered that the dolphin browser is able to download you tube vidz to your SD. Even if you use the default browser, just having dolphin browser installed should enable it. Try it below (also works by going to you tube.com).

Oct 5, 2010I've noticed that lately, my download speeds on my rooted Droid (running BB 0.5 most recently, though this "problem" occurred with BB 0.4 and LFY 1.6 as well) have not been stellar, though my upload speeds seem fine:
Could this be caused by the baseband? Im running C_01.43.01P. Prior to that, I was running (I think) 3E, which came with the phone, and worked fine with BB 0.4 but when the updated one came out I updated it since, hey, it's newer right? Anyway, (1) is this certainly the problem? and (2) if I choose to, how can I safely roll back to the 3E baseband?

HTC Droid Eris :: Kicking Out Of Internet - No Calls - Slow Phone - Hard Reset?
Jul 29, 2010Hi There! I'm new here although I've been lurking for a while. Great info here! So my phone has been super slow, lagging, kicking me out of the internet, no calls when people say they call etc. I talked to Verizon and they want me to do a hard reset. Is this necessary?? It scares me to possibly lose all my stuff. So if I need to do this then what do I need to make sure is backed up??
Would love some help with this b/c my phone is really starting to frustrate me. My husband was in the store yesterday, sent me a txt and when he got back in the car asked me why I didn't respond. By the time I got his text, wrote back and it finally sent he was back in the car! So yeah lagging is such a great thing!

Aug 26, 2010I got my x on launch day no root no 2.2 all stock .well i've been noticing its getting slower don't have much installed only about 10 apps. The browser will start and then stop when u tell it to go somewere then after a dew sec it takes back off. Text message when u bring it up it takes about 10 sec to load then another lag to start typing and there wont be any old messages in box and when they do finally come up u can't scroll threw the old ones.

Past 2 days the wireless has been down due to a storm and I was forced to use phone for internet after not using it for months. Its slow almost dial up slow, even tho the phone shows its in 3G the browsing and download speeds are painfully slow. By the way I am using easy tether.

Feb 8, 2010I was just browsing some websites such as alfamovie.com and zml.com. I would like to download some movies for my phone, but want to make sure that I am downloading from a reputable site. Can anyone recommend a good site for this? Also, I see some of them offer to download in ipod or DivX (not sure what DivX even is) formats. Nov 19, 2009I was so happy when I was able to pull myself away from the iphone and really was hoping for great things with my new hero.I must say the hero is great! BUT Im tempted everytime I go online with my Hero to either stamp on it or throw it out the window.I used to surf a lot at home over wifi with my iphone, It was quick always a great connection absolutly no problems.Now i have no iphone and surf with my Hero, must say the worst and most annoying situation from a surfing point of view.I have full bars on wifi connection, yet it is sooo slow. But not only slow I also need to refresh the page i want to view at least 3 or 4 times till the network error dissapears and the webpage is shown, same goes when accessing the market app.Like I said the hero itself is really great, but at the moment for me it is a much more pleasent experience surfing over wifi on the iphone.I thought I was over the iphone groupie phase but it looks like their going to get me back unless maybe theres someone who knows about this wifi problem.

When someone sends me a pic I get an alert that it was not able to be downloaded, to retry, and then it doesn't work again. I tried e-mailing the video to myself, but when I try to download it from Gmail, it says "unable to fetch attachment" How can I send video to someone else? Is there a way to change the extension?
