Motorola Droid :: Backlight On For Navigation Buttons / Turn It Off While Viewing Video?
May 8, 2010Hey guys had a question. I noticed today while watching a movie at night in a vehicle that the 4 navigation buttons at the bottom of the phone never go off. At night it's actually quite annoying while trying to watch a movie. How can i get these to turn off while viewing a video?

Nov 12, 2009I have only had the Droid for 24 hours and I have had it reset on me about 8 times already. I really am not too sure why. Mostly its been while doing different tasks in different applications. But as of the last 3 times, it has been while I was using the Broswer. Essentially, it just completely locks up (no haptic feedback either) and either resets itself, or else I have to hold teh Shift+Alt+Del to reset it.Has anyone else had this problem?

I want to take this file and drop it onto the phone (HTC Desire in my case) to watch offline. But the video format is not supported. Using ffmpeg I tried to convert it to different supported types (wmv, mp4), but it still does not play. Is there any prescribed way of doing this?

Aug 26, 2010Alright, I went to a website that I was directed to go to. I had no problem viewing the main page, but when I click on a tab from the home page, it opens up that over top of the home page, like an overlay. I have no problem seeing this either. The problem is when I try to scroll on the overlay, I get these black boxes that surround the overlay and then it locks up and kicks me out of the browser or reboots my phone. I tried messing with the browser setting but that didn't help. Does anyone know what may be causing this?
