I'm creating 3GP videos with the Android - however, when the 3GP files are posted on a site, the same Android phone cannot view it back. (The file works on the iPhone).
What is right way to encode/resize the 3GP video so that the video player on Android can play it back?

I will try to explain what exactly I need to do.
I have 3 separate screens say A,B,C. There is another screen called say HomeScreen where all the 3 screens bitmap should be displayed in Gallery view and the user can select in which view does he wants to go.
I have been able to get the Bitmaps of all the 3 screens and display it in Gallery view by placing all the code in HomeScreen Activity only. Now, this has complicated the code a lot and I will like to simplify it.
So, can I call another Activity from HomeScreen and do not display it and just get the Bitmap of that screen. For example, say I just call HomeScreen and it calls Activity A,B,C and none of the Activities from A,B,C are displayed. It just gives the Bitmap of that screen by getDrawingCache(). And then we can display those bitmaps in Gallery view in HomeScreen.
I hope I have explained the problem very clearly.
Please let me know if this is actually possible.

It can create folder in SD card but no file created under this folder. It always gives me FileNotFoundException. I'm not sure it is the file creating problem or the screenBitmap problem.

I can view them fine, but iMovie will not import them (and it does import mp4), and MPEGStreamclip will not allow me to convert them.(or even view them. audio is there but no video) says error: no movie frame. I've only had my EVO for 4 days now but I can't open any videos sent to me via messaging. My husband has an Instict and sent me a 20 second video of our daughter and when I tried to open it, I got a photo that said "Video too large to view on this device". How do I view video sent to my phone, from an Iphone?
When I receive video text messages, it gives me the little button to download...I hit download and it opens up the little video box with a play button. Only problem is, once I hit play, it opens up the screen and seems like it's playing, but it's stuck on a screen grab of the first screen.

The video played on the BB but when I tried to view it in the message from my phone, I could not even download it. In the email, it has a paperclip with a point to the right, and the name if it is VID 00028.3GP (262kb size). I could not do anything with the attachment and when I touched the paperclip icon, it wouldn't do anything. I forwarded the email to another person and she could view the video- from her iPhone.
