Motorola Droid :: Problem Viewing Web Pages

Alright, I went to a website that I was directed to go to. I had no problem viewing the main page, but when I click on a tab from the home page, it opens up that over top of the home page, like an overlay. I have no problem seeing this either. The problem is when I try to scroll on the overlay, I get these black boxes that surround the overlay and then it locks up and kicks me out of the browser or reboots my phone. I tried messing with the browser setting but that didn't help. Does anyone know what may be causing this?

When I view web pages its quite a few is there an easier way to get to my home screen than pressing backup all the time passing all the pages I've seen before I get back to the beginning,

Is there a certain trick to viewing call details, suck as the exact time a call was recieved or missed? I have the D2 global. Just upgraded from D1. All I used to do on D1 was long press and then scroll down to "view call details". D2 doesnt seem to have that option.

I just realized I can't long press on a news article / web page and choose specific words to copy them. I'm using Dolphin browser. Is there a plugin I need? As much as I love my DX this is a disappointment.

I got an Eris today. I am happy with the phone in general, but I did not realize how much I may want a keyboard with a smart phone. I may go back and get the Motorola version tomorrow.
My only concern is I do not know how to turn off getting the mobile versions of web pages as the default on the Motorola Droid. There is an option to turn off getting mobile versions of web pages as the default on the Eris, but I could not find it on the Motorola version. If I am getting a fast phone with a good browser, I want the full version of web pages-not scaled down mobile versions. Can I change that option on the Motorola?

I have seen other peoples desktops on their Droids, and they seem like they have at least 2 left of center, and 2 right of center pages. How is this done? I only have center , left and right to put my icons.

I have only had the Droid for 24 hours and I have had it reset on me about 8 times already. I really am not too sure why. Mostly its been while doing different tasks in different applications. But as of the last 3 times, it has been while I was using the Broswer. Essentially, it just completely locks up (no haptic feedback either) and either resets itself, or else I have to hold teh Shift+Alt+Del to reset it.Has anyone else had this problem?

This is my first time here and I picked up a Droid last Friday and have already learned a lot about this phone. One problem I would like to know is how do you exit web pages without turning the phone off? When I hit the browser icon, it takes me back to the last page which is still open and I don't know how to close them.

Hey guys had a question. I noticed today while watching a movie at night in a vehicle that the 4 navigation buttons at the bottom of the phone never go off. At night it's actually quite annoying while trying to watch a movie. How can i get these to turn off while viewing a video?

long time reader, first time poster here. i just came from the HTC incredible where the browser was super fast.. and for some reason it seems extremely slow on the X, i am literally waiting and counting Mississippi's for the pages to load.. does anyone out there have the same problem? and if so.. what is the solution.

Installed flash 10.1 today and since then...won't boot up at times, screen orientation won't switch, lock-ups, pages hang, multiple reboots etc. How do I uninstall this? I've looked on the phone and tried to research online without any luck so I have turned to to the real experts. Help!

I tried searching for an answer to this but maybe my wording isn't right. I want to know if I can make web pages appear larger on the screen when I'm using an internet browser. Before the 2.1 update I never had an issue seeing something but now I have to turn it vertical and squint really hard to see web pages, then pray I hit the right link b/c it's so small. I just want to increase my view but the options I've tried under settings must not be the right thing.

I just placed a sight-unseen order for a Droid Incredible from Verizon...I'm guess that when browsing the web, you can use the built in virtual keyboard to type in user names, passwords, and suchlike when you are on a website that asks for such...?
When doing so, how much of the webpage do you see? A screen photo showing a webpage with blanks to be filled in and showing the keyboard would be useful.
