Its not like theres even pictures or detail in the email. whats the problem? i hate buying the latest and greatest and discovering its not as good as years ago. even my gmail doesnt alert me half the time when i have mail. blackberry was alot slower but a million times faster with important mail.

Dec 26, 2009My Moto droid is unable to recieve or make calls. My mom called me like 25 times asking me to look up something, when I FINALLY got the call on the house phone I was able to look it up in maps but unable to call her back at all (was using wifi). My EVDO data services work fine but theres not voice AT ALL. I tried calling my number from like 5 phones nothing, I also reset it turned off the cellular radio and turned it back on nothing. Now for some reason the only time I can receive calls and make calls is when I have it set to 1xRTT only....Idk wtf going on but the one time I needed to use the PHONE on my handset it decided to not work....I had like 3 people try and call me and nothing not very convent.

Mar 30, 2010So I installed Smoked Glass last v6. night and everything was fine. This morning everything was also fine, sent and received 20-30 texts and no issue. About 5 minutes ago I was trying to send a text and I kept getting a message not sent. So then I tried to make a phone call and I could not make a phone call ether. I can still access the internet though. I have 2-3 bars at all times.
Can this be related to me installing the ROM (nothing went wrong with instillation) I wiped all data, installed rom and then backed up with titanum. I have rebooted my phone a couple of times and nothing changed. I also just tried to make a call and it completely rebooted the phone.

Sep 9, 2010This is my first "smartphone" although I have used a corporate Blackberry and I have used a Palm for many years. I've had this phone for about a month now. While the hardware is ok, the software for critical functions (Calendar, Contacts, Notepad, and Music) absolutely sucks!
1. I do not want to use Google/Gmail for my calendar and contacts. I don't know about any of you, but I do not feel comfortable having my confidential contact and calendar information sitting on the internet in Google. The company I work for even has a block on Google contacts & Gmail because it is not secure and fraught with potential for virus. I want a way to sync calander, contacts and notepad directly from my PC to my phone. Unfortunately, this can't be done. I've tried Companion Link. Besides the fact that it cost $39, I can't even get it to work. This type of functionality should be a basic part of a smartphone. Iphones do it. Blackberry's do it. Palm Pre does it. Why not the Droid?
2. Music - I have been trying to figure out a way that music synced to the Droid will play in the proper order. The Droid will only play music in Alphabetical order. I can't find a way to play music in Track # order. I have been on the phone with Motorola for hours. Finally got to Level 2 tech support. They told me that it cannot be done. How stupid is this? Try listening to a Broadway Show album in alphabetical order! Right now I feel if you just want a fancy toy, buy a Droid. If you want a real "smartphone" look somewhere else.

It's $3 and you can play it both single-player and multiplayer. It's pretty fun. Matches are over fairly quickly so it's good to pick up and play for a couple minutes.
The game works fine on my Droid X, but there seems to be an issue with Swype and the text input boxes. You can't Swype to type--instead, you have to tap each letter. Also, you can't seem to delete using Swype. Also, there is a bug where the number 0 won't register in the text box. These are pretty minor issues since entering your username and password is about the only typing you'll do in this game, but it's something to be aware of.

I worked with both the BGP100 and Zeemote on other mobile platforms. They both work quit good with action games. The buttons/keys can be user programmable meaning with the proper driver you can configure the buttons for game specific actions. This worked well under other platforms.
Im considering investing some time in the development of a driver to work with these.
