I have digital copies of a Wanted and Matrix and Toy Story 3 already on my computer. My wife has an Eris (Android 2.1) and I have a D2G (loving the upgraded hardware). So, how can I put movies on my phone and how do I watch them once they are there?
I will be traveling next week and want the ability to watch TV or movies on my laptop. I Downloaded Easy Tethering to not have to pay expensive resort WiFi but just realized Hulu not Droid friendly. Any other sites or suggestions where I could watch some TV or movie programming?

1) Download app called ota rootkeeper from the android marketplace.
2) Open app and protect root.
3) Click "temp unroot".
4) When done watching movie go to ota rootkeeper and restore root.
Every time you want to use Google play you must do this.

I would like to download some movies for my phone, but want to make sure that I am downloading from a reputable site. Can anyone recommend a good site for this? Also, I see some of them offer to download in ipod or DivX (not sure what DivX even is) formats. Should I choose one of these formats or just choose DVD format and convert it? Is there specific settings I should choose for the Eris? I really am new to this, so dumb it down for me ok?
