Is there any way to locate my downloads? See what's on my SD card? access the native .pdf reader directly? See a directory of my files? In other words, generally use Android as it comes out of the box like a normal operating system?

It used to work but now it doesn't seem to be allowing me to be able to. I'd hate to have to do a factor reset on my phone to fix this. Anyone know of anything that could be causing this?

The last week or so, I've noticed that the GPS on my phone starts trying to locate where I am without a program prompting it to do anything. I had just left the gps on, so it would be ready for maps/etc. Is there a way to tell which program is accessing it? My understanding was that you could leave the gps switched on with the droid x because it would not actually use it, unless a program called for it.

I have My location enabled, I have it reading off 3G towers instead of GPS, and I have the Weatherbug locator app. Also it is tracking me in the background. Nothing. I have 'My Location' as the default, but it doesn't change.
Only time that it updates is if I enable GPS following, then it gets it perfectly. Otherwise no dice.
Anyone have this problem as well?
What's the name of that big beautiful clock / weather widget I see on the Eris? I cannot seem to locate it in the marketplace.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to download mp3 files from my file server onto my Droid. Everytime I try to download a song I get the error message Download Unsuccessful. I thought it was a problem with my server but all of my computers can download from it, and I just went and got my mom's Droid ERIS to test. It could successfully download mp3 files from the server. This is ridiculous, why wouldn't my Droid be able to download these files but the ERIS can? Is this a case of Droid DOESN'T?

I lost my phone last night, and I had wavesecure on it, but I haven't been able to locate it or even lock it! but I know the battery was really low. Does wavesecure not work if it's uncharged? Anyway, I'm still on contract, but no insurance. Is there any way to still somehow locate my phone using wavesecure?
View 10 Replies View Relatedtoday I put my sd card into my sd card reader to throw some photos on to my computer. After I was done i put the sd card back into my droid and booted it up. After booting I get a notification saying my SD card is blank, so I turn off the phone and pull the battery out. When I grabbed my SD card it burnt my hand "literally" it was that hot... Wtf?!?! I put the SD card back in the reader and the computer doesnt even see the card. Idk if anyone has heard of a similar problem b4 and knows a fix...Thanks in advance! Side Note; I work at a cell phone repair store, so I put the sd card in two other blackberry's and they say "your sd card needs to be formated or it is corrupt". I put other sd cards into my phone and i have no problems.

I have downloaded lots of apps, but now there seems to be a problem. When I click to download, nothing happens, and then an orange triangle appears with the words "download was unsuccessful, please try again." I have tried all of the suggestions out there, removing and replacing the battery and SIM card, turning Wifi off and back on, logging out of Google Talk (although I seem to be automatically logged back in w/out doing anything), using 2G, 3G and Wifi.

I'd rather not have to have it touch the phone's storage as many phones won't have 400 meg free on the phone's storage.

I have had the Incredible for a week and was working fine. Recently, I have tried to download some wallpaper and music and they will not download. My wife also has one and I looked at her settings for the SD card and the Unmount SD card is lite. On mine I tap it and it will not lite stays gray.

I was able to exchange the phone and I've reloaded my apps and gotten my contacts all back in play. Now I've tried to download my music onto my SD card and it's telling me the SD card is unavailable. Any ideas on what's going on here? I would like to re-format and start over again but that doesn't seem to be an option on my phone.

I am trying to download a file from my tablet (teac tc-971v, 16gb internal storage), but when im trying to download an error pops up saying "an sd card is required to download " happens with any file im trying to download. i have enough storage avaliable (13gb free). I've tryed to download from a different browser (Dolphin).
I've tried to set the destination directory to the internal folder.(btw the default android browser doesnt have this option, only on dolphin browser)
is there any way i can download files to my internal storage without getting an sd card?
