I have tried the motorola software, doubletwist, and now Itunes agent. I am finally able to transfer music from my itunes to my droid. I thought I was going to be able to have the playlist (such as Jazz) from my itunes also available on my droid. I have the music on my droid, but there isn't anything under playlists on my droid. Is it possible to have the playlist show up on the droid?

I love the native music player that comes stock on android (via google music). I also use a mac, and I'm in Canada (so I can't take full advantage of the google music service, I.E. storing music in the cloud and managing it that way. In order to put music on my android phone i simply select the songs in my itunes and and drag them into the music folder in Android File Transfer. This works, however, there is one problem: the songs aren't organized into folders, which makes it extremely difficult to organize / delete music from my phone when I want to, as the songs are organized as 01 01 01 01 01 01 02 02 02 02 02 02 03 03 03 03 etc. I tried to right click the music folder and say new folder but it won't create that folder in the music folder. I tried moving the songs into that folder then dragging it into the music folder but that won't work.
I really don't want to use double twist, because I have in the past, and I don't really like it all that much. I just want my files to be organized into folders so that when I can delete them later when I want to.
I just got all my iTunes music and pictures transferred over and I was wondering if there was a way to get the digital copies of Bluray movies I put on my iPhone onto the Droid? I saw someone else had a problem with iTunes movies before and it sounded like he bought those movies off iTunes. I'm simply trying to get the digital copy of movies that came with the Bluray movies I own onto the Droid such as Terminator and Transformers.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was under the impression that iTunes Agent allowed the user to Sync playlists to their device from iTunes. It looks as though it's only allowing me to add music without any playlists??? Am I doing something wrong? Or missing something? So far I have had no luck with FREE programs to allow me to sync my iTunes playlist with my Evo. It's becoming very frustrating. I thought that it was going to be an easy and FAST process to sync my music but it's more of a pain in my arse! I have tried DoubleTwist which is crap. IMO, it never recognizes my device and takes hours, or at least it seems to actually sync my device, when of course it actually recognizes it. I wasn't planning on spending any money on a program but looks like I may have to since I want to keep iTunes as my media player on my laptop. This is one thing I miss about my iPhone. It was soooo simple to sync my music and playlists.

I currently have an iPhone 4S and I am probably going to get a Galaxy Note 2 when it comes out for Verizon. In order to prepare for this, I set up Google Play Music to upload my music so it can be ready for me when I get my new phone (I like it better than Samsung's default music player). Only one problem: protected AAC files (or DRM) can't be transferred to Play Music. I tried converting my music with 2 different DRM converters, but they were free trials, and it only would convert 1:00 of each song and then stop. Is there any free way to convert each protected song completely, along with protected videos? Also, does music on Play Music eat up an Android device's space? I have over 12 GB of music and movies and I don't want to have barely any any space left on a 16 GB device if a 32 or 64 GB ever comes out, minus the SD card.

I've used doubleTwist but it seems to stuck most of the time and it's really slow. I've also tried iTunes Agent but it seems to skip some items, and it doesn't copy sync album art!.
So since I'm a programmer, I wrote a simple app that will do what I need. It's written in C# so it will only work in Windows.
What it does is mirror copying your local music library into your Android device. Actually, it will work with any device, but it was written for Android, so I'll leave it as it is
Requirements:
- Windows Vista / 7 (Sorry xp guys!)
- Microsoft .NET 3.0 Installed (Most likely you have it).

What is the best way to sync iTunes music? I've been using DoubleTwist but it is just not working these days (especially after ICS update). I sync it and sync it and Playlists never appear. So I need something else. I'm mostly concerned about a Smart Playlist I have for podcasts, which would not sync with Google Play. So frustrating dealing with Doubletwist. I have Droid Bionic.

I've tried a lot of things and every one of them just transfers over the songs from the playlist and not the actual playlist. I really like the Music Player Samsung has and I want to use that one, but nothing seems to transfer playlists to it. I've tried doubletwist (only transfers the music, not the playlists), iTunes agent, (same) dazzboard (doesn't work at all), and songbird (so buggy and slow, impossible to use... gave up) There has to be some way to get that player to work with iTunes or to import everything from iTunes and use it with the Samsung Music Player.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have recently got a Samsung S4 after being an Apple person. I went straight to Winamp as I use it at home on my PC and love it, and want to keep it consistent. I am able to import my iTunes library into Winamp on my pc without issue. It is when I go to copy it onto my phone that I have problems. I right click on the folder/playlist I want to move across, select Send To -> Devices -> Galaxy S4 and it appears to copy. However, when I check on my phone, the playlist shows as <name>.pla and there is no music in the playlist. Only if I click on Songs in the main menu does it show the songs, but of course all together and in alphabetical order. Is there a step I am missing out on here? I was looking to upgrade to the full version, but at this stage, I'm not willing to go any further unless I can get this resolved.
And trust me, I want to keep using this program; just annoyed that I can't get it to work properly on the phone as it's the best and only player I use on my PC.

So I hooked it up and installed the software and stuff. Do I have to use that and WMP to transfer music to my phone? For some reason WMP won't detect my phone, even though the software comes up when I plug it in. WMP only gives me the option to copy to CD, it doesn't recognize the phone as a device.
I've got plenty of music on my computer as well as pictures that I'd like to put on my Droid. What's the easiest way to do this? Also, if I don't have one of the ringo type apps can I use these songs as ringtones for specific contacts?

Now i can only transfer 20 songs on itunes agent, and probably about half on ituner. I've tried ituner, itunes agent, and the twist one, none of them can get me my whole list, and i have been doing everything perfect.
