View 3 RepliesI have a droid incredible running 2.2, Before the update i could only transfer 35 songs of my 70 song list from itunes. Now i can only transfer 20 songs on itunes agent, and probably about half on ituner. I've tried ituner, itunes agent, and the twist one, none of them can get me my whole list, and i have been doing everything perfect.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI bought this phone for the media capability. And used the app called "isyncr" with flawless results every other day. I installed 2.2 a day or two ago (also wiped the phone to start fresh) downloaded isyncr today to put some music on the phone and every time i open isyncr i get a force close window. Anyone having the same issue? or does anyone have a way i can sync itunes to my phone that it easy?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've been looking for ways to Sync my music library in Droid with my iTunes, but with no 100% success.
I've used doubleTwist but it seems to stuck most of the time and it's really slow. I've also tried iTunes Agent but it seems to skip some items, and it doesn't copy sync album art!.
So since I'm a programmer, I wrote a simple app that will do what I need. It's written in C# so it will only work in Windows.
What it does is mirror copying your local music library into your Android device. Actually, it will work with any device, but it was written for Android, so I'll leave it as it is
Requirements:
- Windows Vista / 7 (Sorry xp guys!)
- Microsoft .NET 3.0 Installed (Most likely you have it).
Screenshots:
Instructions:
- Download and extract the application
- Place AndroidSync.exe in your Android storage folder (sd card).
- Run whenever lib is needed to be synced.
Notice: It might have some bugs, as I wrote it in just one hour. Please tell me about anything weird you encounter.

I just got the Razr Maxx. I am a mac user, and am looking for a way to consistently and conveniently transfer my iTunes PLAYLISTS to my Razr. I know transfering the music itself will not be a problem, the issue is synching the actual play lists.
View 2 Replies View RelatedHTC said that iTunes syncing was coming in Froyo 2.2. I've just updated to it and can't see any sign of it, have plugged into itunes and it didn't recognise it or anything

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm not a big fan of iTunes but one thing I do like is that it makes small versions of all your photos purely to put on your iPhone/iPod. I have tried the new HTC Sync but it just uploads the full res version of my photos. Does anyone know of any sync software for putting photos onto the Desire/Android? I guess I could use iTunes itself but I don't really want to use it at all, especially just for photos.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm very close to buying the desire from mobiles.co.uk (110 handset) and Vodafone (600 mins, unlimited texts, 1gb internet, 24 months). I have a few questions which I would be incredibly grateful if you could help me with.
1.) - How do I put my iTunes music on to the Desire?
2.) - What is the PC Software like, and do they have or plan to have a iTunes version for Android any time soon?
3.) - Can you make folders on the Desire to put photos in?
4.) - Is 1GB enough, if I have 3G on but not using does this still eat up my allowance?
5.) - Can the Androids phones get viruses if you visit unsafe websites?
6.) - And with Vodafone does your monthly bill show the websites you have visited?
I upgraded to froyo (Tmobile, unrooted) yesterday and I'm trying to sync itunes with my desire. I've downloaded HTC sync from the support website and checked the sync itunes to device bit. But it says that there's 0 megabytes of music to sync. When I click sync now, it does sync but nothing happens with music. I do have music in itunes, so does anyone have any ideas what I need to do?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI currently have an iPhone 4S and I am probably going to get a Galaxy Note 2 when it comes out for Verizon. In order to prepare for this, I set up Google Play Music to upload my music so it can be ready for me when I get my new phone (I like it better than Samsung's default music player). Only one problem: protected AAC files (or DRM) can't be transferred to Play Music. I tried converting my music with 2 different DRM converters, but they were free trials, and it only would convert 1:00 of each song and then stop. Is there any free way to convert each protected song completely, along with protected videos? Also, does music on Play Music eat up an Android device's space? I have over 12 GB of music and movies and I don't want to have barely any any space left on a 16 GB device if a 32 or 64 GB ever comes out, minus the SD card.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm yet to get an HD but am 99% convinced....just doing a little research into things that might be deal-breakers.
With regard to getting music and video onto the device, what's the best/easiest/recommended way?
Does it come with some sort of media sync app?
I personally use an ipod at the moment, synced to my music player in Ubuntu. This is one of the main reasons that I don't want an iphone - being tied to windows as a pc user.
Is it just a case of drag-and-drop, or can playlists be created and synced?
Also, does it support podcast subscription, management and download in the same way that itunes does, for example?
All of my music is in an iTunes account so i've tried:
Double Twist (sort of worked, but very slow)
Media Monkey (did not work at all)
WMP (sort of worked using media bridge to extract playlists from iTunes)
The problem i'm having is this. I have created a folder called /Media/Music on the phone and regardless of how I put my music into that folder, drop and drag, cut a paste or using one of the above programs to sync, I only ever seem to get about 113 music files onto the micro SD card. Before you ask no its not full (16gb so plenty of space).
I synced about 1500 tracks took several minutes to sync but when I opened the music player on the phone only 113 tracks. I waited for several hours and chacked again and still 113 tracks. I downloaded a program that allows me to browse the files and folders on the sd card and the folders are there but no files. when i connected my phone back up to the laptop there are folders but no music files (apart from the 113), and here is the wierd bit i only seem to be keeping files that are starting with the letter 'A'
I thought the SD card was broken so I tried the one that came with the phone, and same problem exists.
I tried a different laptop with totally different music files, and same problem exists.
I tried a different music player from the market, and same problem exists.
I even tried to re-set the phone to factory settings and formatted the phone back to standard, and same problem exists!
I'm on O2 so if i dont get an answer here i'll be trying to get it sent back and asking for a new handset.
I have a huge library of music in MP3 320kbps. I'm looking to copy selected albums to my phone but during the sync process I'd like them to be re-encoded to a lower bit rate so I can fit more on the phone. I'd like this done during the sync so I don't have to keep a second, lower bitrate copy of everything.WMP12 claims to be able to do this but, not surprisingly for a piece of Microsoft software, it doesn't actually work so I'm looking for something else that can do it. Is there anything else out there? Also, nearly all media managing software constantly just refers to syncing "playlists". I don't ever use playlists as I tend to listen to whole albums in order so I select artist then album, no need for a "playlist". Can I use these things to copy across whole albums without the need to create a playlist of that album and use that to sync?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an urgent problem with my desire and would appreciate any help. My desire is not detecting my computer when I connect the USB, I connect it and it begins charging instead of asking me about the connection type. As I was puzzled and thought this was very strange, I checked the "connect to PC" settings only to find out the "ask me" option was indeed enabled . When I connect the USB to the computer it begins charging and displays "USB" on battery status, but it does not actually detect the computer, nor does the computer detect the phone (even when I change the default connection type to "disk drive" it continues on charge mode). Has anyone any clue as to what is wrong with my desire? I am very confused because as I said, I select the "ask me" option but it does not "ask me", I really want to fix this as it means I cannot sync music onto it, any ideas?

View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a simple way to get my N1 to sync with iTunes without having to download and install a bunch of software? I'm new to the whole Android scene and I looked at Double Twist, but was looking for something a little easier since I'm on a Mac and I sync some other "i" devices with iTunes and I'm worried about the programs maybe not playing nice with each other? I'm not looking to sync my whole library, just maybe a few playlists. Is there an easy way to do this?
View 12 Replies View RelatedThis guide is an easier, edited version of a article I read online. The source can be found at the bottom.
For those of you coming from iPhones/iPods and have massive clean & organized music with iTunes, there is indeed a way to sync your music for free to your android phone. If you like it, support the project, the software I'm about to talk about is free.
iTunes Agent - Windows based software that reads iTunes, keeps organization and brings the files to your Android Phone.
iTuneMyWalkman - Mac users that are smart enough to know that there are other Mp3 players other than iPods, install this software instead of iTunes Agent.
1.) Download iTunes Agent,
2.) ---> Once Installed, the software will run in the system tray.
3.) Plug in your Android (EVO 4G in this guide.) and mount it as a hard drive. The software is going to write files to your SD Card.
4.) ---> Create a folder on your SD Card titled Music. I will explain why below.
you'll be able to set sync your G1 with an iTunes playlist (you're actually syncing the MicroSD card with iTunes, but it works the same). After you install the program, connect the G1. The "Recognize by folder type" field is important. It's basically how the program distinguishes your G1 from any other device you connect to your computer - I added a Notepad file called ANDROID to the root of the MicroSD card, seems like it can be anything that simple. In the "Music Folder" field, I pointed it to the Music folder at the root of the MicroSD card on the G1.
In the "Associate with playlist" I left it as "use device name." Now, when you go to iTunes, under "My Devices" there should be a playlist icon that says "G1". Add whatever files you want (make sure there isn't any DRM) and then right click on the iTunesAgent icon in your system tray and click "Synchronize devices."
I tried to use sailing sync-er but for some reason it didn't copy all of my songs it was weird it only copied over about 25% of my songs.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis has probably been asked before, but I can't find it. So I have a folder of MP3s on my laptop, and the same MP3s on my Vibrant. If I want something that would sync the two -- delete from laptop and it delete from phone, add to laptop and it adds to phone, etc. -- what's the best app for that?
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis isnt really an app as such but a piece of software I found to work really well. I have iTunes and didnt want to convert over to MediaMonkey or Winamp to sync my tunes.
View 6 Replies View RelatedThere has got to be some way to do this. I playlists in itunes that I want to sync with my incredible. I'm using a mac. At first I was just dragging and dropping the files, which works fine, except there are no playlists. I tried salling mediasync, it copied the songs, but not any playlists. I also get about half of the songs that won't play and message "unable to play files of this type" on the phone. So, is there a streamlined way to copy playlists from itunes to the incredible without downloading 2-3 different applications?
