I currently have an iPhone 4S and I am probably going to get a Galaxy Note 2 when it comes out for Verizon. In order to prepare for this, I set up Google Play Music to upload my music so it can be ready for me when I get my new phone (I like it better than Samsung's default music player). Only one problem: protected AAC files (or DRM) can't be transferred to Play Music. I tried converting my music with 2 different DRM converters, but they were free trials, and it only would convert 1:00 of each song and then stop. Is there any free way to convert each protected song completely, along with protected videos? Also, does music on Play Music eat up an Android device's space? I have over 12 GB of music and movies and I don't want to have barely any any space left on a 16 GB device if a 32 or 64 GB ever comes out, minus the SD card.

I have a droid incredible running 2.2, Before the update i could only transfer 35 songs of my 70 song list from itunes. Now i can only transfer 20 songs on itunes agent, and probably about half on ituner. I've tried ituner, itunes agent, and the twist one, none of them can get me my whole list, and i have been doing everything perfect.

I installed 2.2 a day or two ago (also wiped the phone to start fresh) downloaded isyncr today to put some music on the phone and every time i open isyncr i get a force close window. I am available for an annual upgrade on november 9 after. I looked online to make sure i would be able to get the DX on the 15th when it came out. it didn't look like i was able to get a smartphone for the 2 year contract price. so, i called customer service and they said that i am indeed able to upgrade on nov 9 but i'm not eligible for the early upgrade because i am currently a smartphone user.

I had a bunch of music saved on my SD Card that I downloaded from VZW Music Media thing.
When I go to music on the Incredible and go over the song (it shows the picture of the album of the song)
it says "unable to play this type of audio"
Whats the best way to get music from my itunes library to the droid? Unfortunately the new motorola software doesn't support mac, and although I run both windows and osx on my laptop, I'd rather do it natively.

I thought I was going to be able to have the playlist (such as Jazz) from my itunes also available on my droid. I have the music on my droid, but there isn't anything under playlists on my droid. I have been trying to upload it and how to do it.
I've been looking for ways to Sync my music library in Droid with my iTunes, but with no 100% success.
I've used doubleTwist but it seems to stuck most of the time and it's really slow. I've also tried iTunes Agent but it seems to skip some items, and it doesn't copy sync album art!.
So since I'm a programmer, I wrote a simple app that will do what I need. It's written in C# so it will only work in Windows.
What it does is mirror copying your local music library into your Android device. Actually, it will work with any device, but it was written for Android, so I'll leave it as it is
Requirements:
- Windows Vista / 7 (Sorry xp guys!)
- Microsoft .NET 3.0 Installed (Most likely you have it).

What is the best way to sync iTunes music? I've been using DoubleTwist but it is just not working these days (especially after ICS update). I sync it and sync it and Playlists never appear. So I need something else. I'm mostly concerned about a Smart Playlist I have for podcasts, which would not sync with Google Play. So frustrating dealing with Doubletwist. I have Droid Bionic.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI purchased apps, via Google Play, and now can't download them. Not just to my Xoom, but also my SGS2. I've tried all download fix options on the Google site, even talked to a tech (who asked I do them again, and then respond via email).
Another option would be to do a factory wipe/reset. Since I'm playing around with ICS, I decided to revert back to factory on the Xoom and try again. Still no luck. Just stays at "Starting download". No percentage. No little "downloading..." message under it. Can't even cancel it from downloading.
And I've tried the following options:
Cleared the cache and/or data
Uninstalled updates
Logged in and out of the "Talk" app several times
Rebooted
Tried requesting from the store web page on my desktop
Tried over different wifi networks
Tried over Verizon
Tried over AT&T
Tried with ICS 4.0.3
Tried with Gingerbread 2.3.6
Tried with Honeycomb 3.2.6
Tried with a factor reset/wiped Xoom (using .img files directly from the Motorola web site)

yesterday I reflashed a tablet with a clean install of cm7, factory reset clear cache etc. Latest Gapps.
I set up the main account with a gmail account I made for my kids because the device is mainly used by them. I added my own google account so it can be used with the play store to redownload all the apps I have purchased for them. I have set the play store to use my google account.
But all the apps I have previously paid for have their price listed beside them in the store, rather than saying "purchased". If I try to buy them again it gives me message saying there was an error with the transaction.I have set up a device with 2 accounts like this before and it worked ok.
Iv`e managed to download a couple of you tube videos onto my samsung galaxy phone, but some of the videos won`t play, I just get a message saying " can`t play this video". why is this, & is there any way that i can get my phone to play all the videos that I download onto it?

One way is to add my Play Store Account, download the apps and then remove it, but some apps request licence and I fear that there should be some problems with it. Is there any work around?

Have had my new Incredible now for a couple of weeks and love it. I am still learning so much about how it works and have searched but can't seem to find an answer to this question. When I plugged in my earbuds from my Ipod tonight to go for a walk, the music continued to play through the speaker and not the headphones. I can't seem to find what I have done. I am using Isynch for my music and the preloaded music app. Do I need special headphones?

Just enable only services to make phone calls and everything else remain disabled(Slow down the CPU to the lowest clock speeds, lower bit depth, turn off all on-board electronics other than those necessary etc). Motivation is to save power. In my phone most of the power is consumed by Android OS (and not screen).
