I already misplaced my manual, because apparently I am a very careless person - could anybody direct me to where I can set the phone so it does not default me to mobile websites (touch.facebook.com or m.cnn.com) but always takes me to the URL I actually request?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI hate being forced by some websites to view their functionally challenged "mobile" version. The standard versions look amazing on the Droid! I assume the sites are reading the useragent string from the browser and forcing the redirect. Any way to change what the useragent is reporting? I've searched quite a bit and haven't found a resolution.

I turned it on, connected it to my home Wifi, used the correct password, and it says it is connected, and has been assigned an IP addressed. However, it isn't connecting to any websites or anything else in any of the browsers.
I have tried both the native and dolphin.

Told him that I loved it and he proceded to tell me to download the new ADV task killer to make my battery last longer. After reading a lot of different threads about task killers I have decided not to. I told him that many believe its a bad idea to have one on a linux running system. View 13 Replies View Relatedlooked for an answer on quite a few threads and forums on this one.on my moto droid, there are a couple mobile sites that will not stream video, but work on my old omnia, and my brothers htc hero. ie break mobile, the onion, and a few random other ones. sometimes it will play one video, then every other video from that server gives a "video not eligable for streaming on this device" or similar error message. it seems odd to me that some mobile vids will work on a hero but not the droid? or is it just my phone? anyone else fed up with this?

I heard the update refreshed it somehow so I was just glancing around and decided to take a look. well after going through some settings it started, I immediately closed the app afraid I had charged 20 dollars but I am wandering if it still costs if they got rid of the notification that it costs, I thought you had to subscribe to it before you ran it so does that mean it's free now?

Wasn't sure if it's a delay or an issue in the fact that I have the leaked 2.2 version on my phone. I can't find it in the Market and I can't find a barcode to compare it to either.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a Motorola Droid that I FULLY FLASHED(all the features) to Metro PCS about 4 weeks ago and it hasn't had any problems until now. I know Metro Flashed phones are only supposed to have all the features but just talk and text but come on,I got it specially programmed you know for full features.what's the point in having an awesome state of the art phone if you can't do crap with it? For some odd reason since yesterday morning,the phone's internet connection has been off.There is no icon of 1x or 3g,etc.In settings it says Mobile Network Connecting and later it says it has disconnected. WHat should I do?Believe it or not,I called metro and they kept on giving me the run-around.I'm guessing I wasn't going to get anything out of them because this flashing thing is kind of 'under the counter'.Should I call the programmer about this problem?Factory Default/Reset? I actually love my phone this time around.I use the internet a lot and this is like killing me.I feel 'blind'.lol.Plus I got this new Assassin's Creed game I need to install. I don't know what's wrong. :-/ :-S I know I have my Wifi turned off btw.
