Anyone else having trouble with the NFL mobile app? I go to it, and the "running" icon is just spinning, but nothing happens. This just started having probs today. I uninstalled it, and installed a new one, still same issue.

since wednsday I can't use my mobile internet. I checked my APN settings and I didn't find anything which could make any problem. I just use Quick Settings and I used to switch sometimes between on/off in the mobile data. I don't know what's the problem...I even reset my phone and reinstall everything but the mobile internet doesn't work to me. when I tried to enable my mobile data on Quick Settings, for a second the 3G Icon appears on the top of the screen and then it disappears. it looks like something stopps my mobile internet working.
View 10 Replies View RelatedThis is news to me and I figured i would share it with my fellow Droiders. I just switched from the Eris to the Moto Droid. I figured switching would render my Eris usless because when starting up the Moto Droid, I had to go through an update orientation and had to connect the phone to a number before getting a chance to view the hoem screen. However, my Eris still works. I can not make phone calls, but I can still use it with the Wifi in my house and can play the music that is stored on the memory card. It is like an Eris Touch. I can also still get apps from the Market and update existing apps.

I recently installed task panel and turned on the auto kill feature...I'm wondering if there is something I'm killing that is doing it but i dont see anything obvious.

I noticed the other day a forum member BigRick10 posted a link so that us non-verizon customers could use NFL Mobile on our phones. Since then NFL Mobile has stopped working for many of the people that of downloaded it. This is what you have to do to get it working again:
Uninstall NFL Mobile from your phone.
Go to this link on your phone (yes I know thats the same link given by BigRick10 but once downloaded it works again).
Install
Please do not use the text notifications, it will not work and send your texts to another number (MobiTV checks the number against the db at Verizon to see if the number is active, so a dummy phone is used). Also I would like to add, I noticed that one of the moderators closed the thread that BigRick10 started because the moderator thought this was piracy. This app is FREE to download on Verizon. Verizon just makes its customers have Vcast inorder to use this app but the app is free to download. The link I provided will not work on Verizon phones. There is another link for Verizon customers to get around paying for Vcast but your on your own with that one.
The classic version of Google works just fine. But the mobile version does not work. It comes up, I input an item to search, but then the search function doesn't work. The "hot key" if that is what it is called - the one one the face of our phones next to the back button works fine, too.
View 1 Replies View RelatedToday my swype trial expired and the forum at xda was updated and removed the apk due to the swype developers request. I tried an uninstall and reinstall of version 1.61.37xxxx from my SD card but it was for naught.
Also the NFL mobile app gave me the "you are not a Verizon wireless customer" message on start up and I did an uninstall and reinstall of that as well and it was a no go. I remember this happened before and you just needed to get the new apk but I can't find it anywhere.
I have 4 htc switches on my home screen, Wifi, Bluetooth, Mobile & GPS. The mobile one is not working all of the time, infact today ts not working at all, all the others are fine anyone else had these problems. Hero is rooted and running modaco's latest rom.

View 1 Replies View RelatedPurchased a HTC Wildfire the other week and i didn't know it was contracted to 3 network so i paid to unlock it so i could put my orange SIM inside it. However after connecting my phone to my router via WiFi all seemed well until i went out and attempted to use my mobile Internet. I've set up the vpn for Orange Internet but still not able to use browser market etc. Wondering if anyone has ideas?

Just got back from a verizon store to pick up something for my wife. A rep saw that I had the droid and asked how I like it. Told him that I loved it and he proceded to tell me to download the new ADV task killer to make my battery last longer. After reading a lot of different threads about task killers I have decided not to. I told him that many believe its a bad idea to have one on a linux running system. He laughed and told me "Thats the forums for you, the droid runs on windows mobile"....

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm a new comer on this forum. I got my Ally about a month ago. So far I like it overall, though it feels a little slow at times. I installed the update1 pushed out to me couple weeks ago from verizon. After that, the Skype mobile doesn't open with error message. I tried removing and reinstalling it, then it worked again. But it's screwed up again after rebooting the phone. I had to repeat this twice. Sorry if this was discussed before. But is there any solution to this problem?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm a SGS2 owner on T-Mobile and a university student. Yesterday morning my phone anomylously deregistered itself from my network, displaying the error message "Not registered on network" whenever I attmpted to make a call.
I phoned Samsung and T-Mobile and resolved the issue by a 'Network Refresh' and manually registering the phone to T-Mobile. I registered manually and had the phone working hours before I got the text from my NSP telling me that I had recieved a network refresh. About which time I noticed that my 3G was not connecting, and has yet to establish a connection today.
looked for an answer on quite a few threads and forums on this one.on my moto droid, there are a couple mobile sites that will not stream video, but work on my old omnia, and my brothers htc hero. ie break mobile, the onion, and a few random other ones. sometimes it will play one video, then every other video from that server gives a "video not eligable for streaming on this device" or similar error message. it seems odd to me that some mobile vids will work on a hero but not the droid? or is it just my phone? anyone else fed up with this?

I heard the update refreshed it somehow so I was just glancing around and decided to take a look. well after going through some settings it started, I immediately closed the app afraid I had charged 20 dollars but I am wandering if it still costs if they got rid of the notification that it costs, I thought you had to subscribe to it before you ran it so does that mean it's free now?

Wasn't sure if it's a delay or an issue in the fact that I have the leaked 2.2 version on my phone. I can't find it in the Market and I can't find a barcode to compare it to either.
