I was wondering how you can either copy an application from a droid to the comp, or how to copy an app from droid to droid. I am rooted with droidmod if that makes a difference.

View 3 Replies View Relatedtried usb debugging tried it off.. when i plug it in nothing will pop up that will say it is. it will charge.. but thats about it. it wont let me change from pc mode to mass storage.. upgraded drivers.. tried Motorola media link.. tried turning it off with the sd card unmounted.. tried removing the battery.. did a hard restore. i tried on 3 computers in my house. nothing seems to be working out. all i want to do is put a video from my phone to my pc.

It is my first Android-based phone, so I am still learning the ropes. My question is this: When I take a video with my Droid, how do I transfer it to my computer? I tried emailing the video, but no attachments went thru. Is there a way to export it via USB, etc.? I know they can be sent straight to youtube if there is wifi available, but I want to send it to the computer for viewing, forwarding, burning to dvd, etc. Any advice anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

I ask because I im a dallas cowboys fan that lives in New York so most games aren't broadcast. The nfl mobile app lets me watch live feeds and games, but as you can imagine the screen is only so big. I clicked the setup file, installed it, then switched my phone to USB Storage. Windows tried installing the drivers and said there was an error. But the computer doesn't recognize the phone at all. It could be a problem with my computer, but I'm checking here in case I just can't find the option on the phone to "allow USB connection" or something.

I know Task Killer is out there, and use it quite frequently, but I'm noticing that when I get out of DroidLive, Google Maps, etc. they stay running in the back ground and the phone will start to get sluggish.
Also on Bootup the phone boots Facebook and Google Maps. Any way to disable this?
So with the last few ROMs I've had installed, I've tried moving apps to the sdcard. I figured it would be a good thing, even if I wasn't running out of room. Every time I move more than just a few apps to the sdcard, my whole phone starts getting laggy. I just moved all of my apps back to phone and the "lagginess" is gone. I currently have UD8.0 installed, but it has behaved this way with LFY and Pete's BB ROMs as well. So it doesn't seem to be a ROM related.

On the first phone there are some stock ringtones I like that are not on the other phone (both regular ringtones and notification ringtones). I want to copy the ones I like from the first phone and put them on the second phone. I tried looking through the folders on the first phone and can't find any ringtones. Neither of the phones are rooted.
