I would like to see an app or widget that would scroll ESPN news and sports scores across your home screen. Any thoughts, or does this already exist in some capacity somewhere?

I developed an widget application. This application is running in all devices.But not showing in Table home screen widget list.I tried in different ways like
Added attributes like
android:resizeMode="horizontal|vertical"
androidreviewImage="@drawable/previewimage"
in Appwidgetprovider xml.
even then it showing in widget list only if we push the apk twice.
finally i made a dummy activity in may widget application and push the apk now my application is shown in perfectly in widget list.But problem with this dummy activity is it creates a icon in apps.provide solution for making my widget application work perfectly in ICS and tablets.
Means how to make my widget available in home screen widget list when installed
I know it's not the ONLY app not showing up in 2.1, but I'm not a fan of sports tap at all, and am looking for something better.There's nothing like ESPN Scorecenter really for the iPhone, but I didn't mind Sportacular's iPhone app and wanted to get it for the Eris.
View 5 Replies View RelatedThere are certain apps that will not let your phone sleep as I noticed yesterday (TRAPSTER) and so I ended up uninstaling it because it kept my home screen up and it never went to black. I didn't want my battery to run down so I got rid of it but as I sit here thinking about it, couldn't I have gone into my Application settings and turned that app off until I wanted to use it again?

The application Home (process com.motorola.blur.home) has stopped unexpectedly.
and gives me the Force Quit button.
It usually happens when I'm texting or using the Messaging widget on the home screen and today it has been happening very often!! Starting to get annoying.
My screen all the sudden would not show any widgets or shortcuts.I think it started happening when sliding open the keyboard and the screens rotating.When i would get out of an app each 3 of the screens was just blank with my wallpaper the only thing there and the the menu slider button.

I'm looking for some "streaming application" that will allow me to watch any of these movies on my phone over the internet.
Is there such a thing? I know I have to have a dedicated computer (gateway) to access the movies, but after searching Google for the past hour, I've given up.
The only thing I can find is Orb, but the reviews aren't the greatest.
Has anyone done this successfully, and willing to share how they did it?

Need good football scores app that features the prem, championship & 1st division? Ideally one that I could have on the scores come up on my screen as they come in rather than having to go into the program and refresh? Also can anyone recommend a good app for making notes? The one I'm currently using will not let me edit a note once I've made it which is of no use to me.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI don't know if this is like a default option but i've found thet my X's entire OS goes into landscape mode, including app tray, browser, apps, everything. I haven't downloaded any apps that do this and while its in this mode it wont rotate back to portrait. The only way I could change it back is by rebooting. I haven't found a way to voluntarily recreate this, it just happens, maybe by a certain combination of keys,but I'd like to know how to recreate this. I'm sure its probably really obvious so forgive me for my obliviousness

I have the auto-rotate open selected in settings.Also, when in my car dock, everything shows in landscape except when I am in a call.The call still shows up in the portrait.It is kind of annoying and lame

About an hour into my trip, Nav would intermittently close, and would return to the home screen. However, the app wasn't always completely FC'd, but running in the background, and could be returned to by dragging down the Notification bar and reselecting it. This continued for the last 2 hours of my trip and was extremely annoying. Has anyone else experienced this?
View 9 Replies View RelatedIm on the Rom manager 2.1. It's been working for days now and I backup my roms pretty much every day. Today I installed a new app Vlingo and my apps disappeared off my home screen. I restored from 2 days ago, but I'm getting the same thing. The apps load at first, but within 5 minutes, they go away. Then, if I apply some apps on the now empty screens, they will be on top of the old ones when I reboot.
