im looking for an app for live football/soccer scores, but hopefully one that will email me when a goal happens. incase im not at the game etc, so i can set it to email me when a goal is scored in a certain game?

Need good football scores app that features the prem, championship & 1st division? Ideally one that I could have on the scores come up on my screen as they come in rather than having to go into the program and refresh? Also can anyone recommend a good app for making notes? The one I'm currently using will not let me edit a note once I've made it which is of no use to me.

I don't want to turn the scores into a pissing contest but having flashed roms since July, the froyo/2.2 roms always have higher scores. Also, just fyi, I really only use the scores just to confirm what I already know when a rom becomes laggy. I run the benchmarks for that reason

View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't have an Evo yet because worst buy decided to fuck me on my pre-order, so i wanted to know if the Evo has a Sprint football app. I'm pretty sure they lost the rights to Verizon for the official NFL Live app but did Sprint replace that with there own. I'm a Football fiend if you cant tell. From what I read you weren't able to watch live games even from the official NFL app, just live audio. But I also wanted to know if there was a way to watch live games on the Evo? Again I'm damn fiend. I don't think my TV has even been turned to anyother channel than the NFL Network or ESPN, Guess I'll throw this question in here too. What is the best sports app in your opinion for Android? I still have an iphone (damn you worst buy) and Sportacular is by far the best in my opinion.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI know benchmarking isnt perfect and Quandrant scores aren't everything, but I'm interested about Linpack. I just saw the G2 post a 40ish linpack score. Using the Jac's oc/uv voodoo kernel, I can only get about 9.7ish in linpack. So whats the difference? What is it that their hardware is doing that we dont see? Is it a 2.1 vs 2.2? Then I heard somewhere that linpack doesn't like non-qualcomm cpus.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI just got a new HTC Evo with Froyo and downloaded the Quadrant Standard benchmarking app. I ran it around 5 times and averaged around 790, I don't understand why this is so low given that usually EVOs are up around 1200. I ran advanced task killer beforehand so there were no apps running either. Does anyone know what could be going on?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have seen several quadrant scores of the Evo with froyo and they are all in the mid 1200's. Thats very close to what most stock 2.1 X's are running. And keep in mind that a stock 2.1 evo is like 750 quadrant.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am looking to add a (local, not online) high scores table to my Android app and I wanted to get some insight on the best way to approach the problem.
I have a list of users (right now being saved out to a file and read back in as an array of User objects), and the high scores need to reference this data to populate the table with the user's name and photo, etc.
For the display, I think a TableLayout would probably be my best option. I can make columns for picture, name, score, etc.
For the information itself, I'm thinking maybe a SQLite table would be the best way to organize my data? If so, then it may be worthwhile to move my user data to a SQLite table as well so I can ensure the data is cross-referenced properly.
I went with the SQLite database (using two tables) and it works great! Wasn't too hard to learn and get working either. For the layout, it turns out a ListView with a custom adapter was the best way to accomplish what I wanted (more flexible than a TableLayout).
I'm creating the specification for a game I'm about to start creating on android, my main concern is how should I keep scores and settings on android? I assume they would be two different things.
The game has players that will have their settings and scores stored and then a settings menu (for the person setting up the game, not necessarily the player).
How would I go about storing these things? What type of data storage means should I be looking into?
I am still trying to understand now android layouts work. I am developing an application for displaying soccers results for a brazilian championship. Someone who got a hold of the Desire HD claims that Neocore scores 56 fps. The Galaxy S scores 55 in that test. Pretty much even.
This proves that the Galaxy S really does 45M triangles/sec rather than 90M that was wrongly reported a while back.
Linkpack gets 35.8 which just shades the old desire.
how do I boost my quadrant scores WITHOUT ROOTING. Because my note 2 rarely scores 7000.

Is anybody having issues logging into their CBS Fantasy Football through the app? I login in, and when I hit submit it brings me right back to the login screen. It's really frustrating. Has anyone found a work around for this or is this just some glitch that CBS needs to fix?

I've only played the rookie level for about 5mins, but the graphics and play/movements just blow me away. This Backbreaker and google Sky map , IMO, really show off the phones ability.
