Motorola Droid :: Stock 2.2 Quadrant Scores?

Aug 12, 2010

My wife's stock, unrooted, Droid routinely scored in the 300s, right where a stock Droid should be. Now with 2.2, she hit 843, and 916--all without starting fresh from a reboot. Looks like some of the "smokin!" is true after all!

HTC EVO 4G :: Low Quadrant Standard Scores With EVO Froyo

Nov 25, 2010

I just got a new HTC Evo with Froyo and downloaded the Quadrant Standard benchmarking app. I ran it around 5 times and averaged around 790, I don't understand why this is so low given that usually EVOs are up around 1200. I ran advanced task killer beforehand so there were no apps running either. Does anyone know what could be going on?

HTC EVO 4G :: HTC EVO With Froyo Quadrant Scores Not Great

Aug 2, 2010

I have seen several quadrant scores of the Evo with froyo and they are all in the mid 1200's. Thats very close to what most stock 2.1 X's are running. And keep in mind that a stock 2.1 evo is like 750 quadrant.

Samsung Captivate :: Froyo Quadrant Scores

Oct 12, 2010

I may be mistaken, but Froyo was available to Captivate users in the leaked JI6 firmware, yes? Well I'm wondering what your Quadrant scores are, running Froyo JI6, on an otherwise stock Captivate, meaning no lagfix. So here is why I'm asking, I read somewhere, can't remember the link, that Froyo is having some issues with the Hummingbird. Basically it offers no speed-boost at all to the Captivate.Froyo was expected to dramatically improve CPU scored on Quadrant. This video also has me worried, this guy in the video ran quadrant and got a score of 975...I already get 925 on my vibrant stock, running 2.1. Froyo is suppose to give us scores like 1800 without lagfix, NOT 975!

Sprint HTC Hero :: Quadrant And Linpack Scores

Nov 16, 2010

Just curious on what everyones scores are. I don't want to turn the scores into a pissing contest but having flashed roms since July, the froyo/2.2 roms always have higher scores. Also, just fyi, I really only use the scores just to confirm what I already know when a rom becomes laggy. I run the benchmarks for that reason

Android :: Quadrant Scores Really Get Low When ATK Shows A Ton Of Programs

Sep 16, 2010

If I don't use ATK, my phone runs very fast and smooth with a ton of crap listed in the back ground. It even scrolls fine. However, it benchmarks lower than when I use ATK to kill everything. My quadrant scores really get low when ATK shows a ton of programs. Kill them and the phone is slow, but benches higher. I stopped using ATK for the most part, but occassionally do for what ever reasons. High bench marks makes me feel good, but so does a smooth phone!

Motorola Droid :: Quadrant Benchmark Sometimes Force Closes

Jul 27, 2010

I've been running BB V0.4 with chevy's no1 ULV 1.2Ghz kernel (mostly as an experiment). All my normal applications run flawlessly and the battery life has been good. No issues streaming video, running Pandora, playing 3D games, running SetCPU stress test. However, about every 4th time I run Quadrant, it force closes on the program startup.

This looks like a warning sign that I'm running right on the edge and will eventually have trouble with my normal applications as well. I haven't run Quadrant before using this new kernel. Is this a program that will sometimes force close even nothing is wrong? Also it only force closes if I haven't run it in a while. Once it is in memory I can rerun it many times with no force closes.

Motorola Droid :: Phone Still Rooted

Jun 18, 2010

Howdy gang: Back in the 2.0.1 days, I rooted my droid, using the "root your" guide. I never did anything with it, never loaded any Roms (planed on it, just never got around to it) When 2.1 came out, I did the OTA. After the OTA, I still have the "super user" ninja icon. Now I want to jump on the 2.2 bandwagon and I need root. But do I still have root? how can I tell?

Motorola Droid :: Phone Is Stuck On Rooted 2.0.1

May 27, 2010

My droids battery life has been miserable and overall the phone has been acting pretty flaky lately. I recently went back to rooted 2.0.1 after running the cyanagen rom. I re enabled OTA and want to just try stock 2.1 for now and see if it fixes my problems before I take it into verizon. After I enabled OTA's it downloaded the file and asked if I wanted to install the update which I said yes to. Phone shut down and restarted and ended up on the Clockwork Recovery screen. I said to reboot and the phone just comes back up in a rooted 2.0.1 version still. It says its running 2.0.1 and the system is up to date.Whats the easiest way to get to 2.1 and unroot? Help please!
