Can somebody tell me in easy instruction on how to get the clock with the weather and everything together on the droid x please. Don't know what app to get or how to set it up.

How do i get the big clock/weather widget on my home screen? I love that thing. Anything else I should do to my D2 right off the bat?

View 7 Replies View RelatedIt seems like everyone uses a home screen clock of some sorts, so I figured I was missing out. I tried a few, but can't get over how much screen real estate you lose! What's the point of losing 4 icons just to see the time, which is plainly displayed on the top of the screen already??? I have the stock Moto power bar up there, which is very helpful, but it takes up 4 spots too. Am I missing something, or do people just need to have the clock that big in their face all the time? BTW, I went from a Palm OS Tore to a Win Mo Treo (and i Pod touch) and then finally got the Droid back in January and I couldn't be happier!! Android is everything I thought it would be and then some.

View 11 Replies View RelatedJust me or is anyone elses weather way off, its 2:05am right now in Minneapolis, MN and it says "sunny" and 57 which it obviously is not. I tried other locations from Chicago, to Miami, to San Diego and they all say sunny or cloudy when the sun obviously is not out in any of these cities, then I tried tokyo where it is 2pm rigtht now and it says "clear" with the moon picture and it obviously cannot be dark if its 2pm, so what is wrong with my weather widget.

1) How do you get the locked screen to show for more than 5 seconds?
2) Where is the clock that is on the box?
3) Is there a way to be able to use the "droid" theme that is shown when you power the phone up?
Is there any way to keep the screen lock clock on the desktop when the phone is unlocked? I like the style and haven't found anything similar (yet).

View 3 Replies View RelatedI bought the dock for the droid the other day and i really like the home screen that comes up when you plug the phone into it, but i was wondering is there was anyway to access that screen with out the dock. the screen that im talking about is the one with the music player, photo viewer, dimming the alarm clock, etc.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI don't know if this is like a default option but i've found thet my X's entire OS goes into landscape mode, including app tray, browser, apps, everything. I haven't downloaded any apps that do this and while its in this mode it wont rotate back to portrait. The only way I could change it back is by rebooting. I haven't found a way to voluntarily recreate this, it just happens, maybe by a certain combination of keys,but I'd like to know how to recreate this. I'm sure its probably really obvious so forgive me for my obliviousness

I have the auto-rotate open selected in settings.Also, when in my car dock, everything shows in landscape except when I am in a call.The call still shows up in the portrait.It is kind of annoying and lame
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe other day I took a trip, put my X in the car dock, and set Nav to my destination. About an hour into my trip, Nav would intermittently close, and would return to the home screen. However, the app wasn't always completely FC'd, but running in the background, and could be returned to by dragging down the Notification bar and reselecting it. This continued for the last 2 hours of my trip and was extremely annoying. Has anyone else experienced this?
View 9 Replies View RelatedIm on the Rom manager 2.1. It's been working for days now and I backup my roms pretty much every day. Today I installed a new app Vlingo and my apps disappeared off my home screen. I restored from 2 days ago, but I'm getting the same thing. The apps load at first, but within 5 minutes, they go away. Then, if I apply some apps on the now empty screens, they will be on top of the old ones when I reboot.

Well none of them worked and I'm pretty sure I uninstalled all of them. However on the most right side of the home screen it still says Problem Loading Widget.. Doesn't seem to be causing a problem but it is just really annoying.

I usually have the map view while driving, but the screen turns-off. Is there a way or app to not turn-off the screen while using the car-home app.
