TempMon is reporting 107 F + while streaming. That's battery temp, of course.CPU is significantly hotter than that.I've tried clocks from 700 up to 1100 and can't get it any cooler.at 700 its barely responsive enough to be functional.at 1200 it reboots.

Been pretty hit or miss for me, but Im trying to watch a stream of NFL network on atdhe.net, and it crashes the browser every time. Anyone else have any luck streaming live stuff?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Galaxy SII 4G, love this phone. However I have some issues when it comes to flash and streaming video stuff. I can seem to watch youtube videos just fine but trying to go to other sites that have flash or streaming videos, it just doesn't play at all. Also some sites with flash will only show up with a green arrow in the area where there's supposed to be a video. I have downloaded Adobe flash and Flash AIR. Have tried multiple browsers with all having the same problems. I am also having this problem on my Viewsonic G-Tablet.

right now I can stream live video from my pc to another pc. for that I used flash player to run the live video streaming.
how to use these tools to stream live video from my pc to Android device. for example what is the encoding technique, what is the frame rate and so on.
This is the oddest problem I've ran across since I started playing with rooting and ROMs. After a few days of installing a new ROM and/or kernel(happens across Bugles Beast, Liquid Frozen Yogurt, Simply Stunning, and Sapphire, etc) any stream that incorporates flash and has streaming audio, the audio stream plays in slow motion. Oddly enough, the video is fine, but the audio is awfully. It doesn't happen on day 1 on the ROMs, its ALWAYS a few days after I install and happens on any site I try. I've tried Unistalling the Flash player and tried several different builds of the leaked Flash player and it never fails.
I know its a long shot, but does anybody have ANY idea what might be causing the audio to freak out after a few days? I can't deduce if its a combination of apps that I'm installing or some kind of incompatibility between ROM and kernel choice I make...but its uber frustrating and I'm having to shy away from some of the nicer ROMs because I need my audio fix for the day.
Just tried in the new RC3 of Cyanogen and it does the same exact thing..I'm really at a loss, I have NO Idea how to tell whats causing this problem.
Can the Dx output anything other than pics/videos captured with the phone? My Dx is in the mail and was wondering if I should buy a cable because I want to use it to stream youtube or other video content from the phone to tv. If it can not be done now, is that a hardware issue or a software issue that could be changed later? Also so I can control the phone while it is connected to the tv I wanted to get a 15' cable. This is the only one I see but it does not say if it is type D or not. Does that matter? View 2 Replies View RelatedI have used Handbrake to convert almost all our DVD's to MP4 (web enabled) on a 2 Terabyte network drive.
I'm looking for some "streaming application" that will allow me to watch any of these movies on my phone over the internet.
Is there such a thing? I know I have to have a dedicated computer (gateway) to access the movies, but after searching Google for the past hour, I've given up.
The only thing I can find is Orb, but the reviews aren't the greatest.
Has anyone done this successfully, and willing to share how they did it?
AT&T evidently has a new campaign to get iPhone users to reduce the amount of video streaming and other data intensive activities they engage in, and may start charging them based on data use.
Their network just can't handle current data levels, and AT&T can't get it updated fast enough to handle the data requirements.
Kind of blows up the ads they've had on TV showing how great their network coverage "really is."
Already been giving my iPhone buddy a hard time showing off my Droid to him, now I'm really going to have some fun at his expense.
Just installed sholes 2.0.6 and temp monitor for my cpu temp. I am fairly new to the overclocking world and don't want to mess anything up. What are some good temps to be seeing running at 1 Ghz and at what temp should I stop what I'm doing and let things cool down?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI updated baseband using recovery and everything went well. Afterwords, it appears to be messing with my temps. Previous to update SetCpu would consistently show temps in the 20's. Now it is almost always @ 30 or above. But Tempmonitor shows differently. Here are some pics. Any Ideas?

View 11 Replies View RelatedI have the paid Weatherbug app and live in Austin, Texas. The value reported by weatherunderground, weather.com, my car, as well as those drive-by LED billboards, tend to be within a couple of degrees of each other (usually 1-2 at max).
Weatherbug however (and correspondingly the Weatherbug site) tend to report temperatures 4-6 degrees lower. I understand that temperatures can vary across a metropolitan area, but 4-6 degrees?
I realize it's their data collection source rather than the phone app itself, otherwise their website wouldn't agree with the phone, which would be an app problem. I also realize it might be geographically isolated, but it's certainly consistently wrong at both my home and my job (26 miles apart, on opposite ends of town).
It would be nit-picking, except for the fact that it's a paid app, and I already dislike their radar/map. This is one paid app I wish I'd skipped.

when charging the phone and using i can understand but alot of times even when not charging i start browsing for say that amount of time and got up to 44-46 c seems kind of high to me considering what I'm doing. I'm at 800oc sholes 2.0.5

I have a problem in playing video file in android using VideoView. When I keep the .3gp video file locally in res/raw folder, the video file plays successfully. But when I keep this same file on live web server and stream it, it runs on Android G1, Nexus one and Tatoo which I have for testing. But It fails to stream and play on Motorola milestone. I got the error on device as: 'This video is not valid for streaming'. What problem it should be, I am really seek of finding it. Is it the issue of programming or file format?
