I recently shot a video using my Motorola Atrix running CM7.2, and for some reason it won't play. All my other videos shot before and after this one play fine. I would really like to see this video, it is very important to me!

I bricked my motorola atrix 4g when i boot it boots into AP fastboot flash mode flash failure and if i power up and hold down both volume keys it says boot mode selection available boot modes normal powerup recovery ap fastboot bp tools normail power up gives me invalid CG OTV invalid CG version and invalid CG OTV recovery does not work flashboot does and bp tools does nothing i just got this phone for my birthday!

View 5 Replies View RelatedI currently have an Motorola Atrix and it wont charge. The battery shows completely dead. When I plug the phone either into the USB or the wall charger, the led light will turn green and the phone powers on and is completely functional. However, it does not show that it's taking a charge (w/ either usb or wall). Once the plug is removed the phone will shut off and wont turn back on until I plug it back in. I've tried several chargers, stock and non-stock and they work on other phones with no problem. I bought a new battery and it worked for about an hour (guessing it was already charged) plugged it in (both usb and wall) will not show a charge. Now, it's back to the same thing. Battery is completely dead and it will only work when it's plugged in. Also, when I plug it in by usb the computer does recognize it.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have recently got an ICS update on my Motorola Atrix 2 in India. I have been using gingerbread for quiet a long and now suddenly everything has changed.
I have anyway explored almost all the changes in ICS. But I am still not able to find one feature which I really loved in gingerbread.
When I press and hold on empty part of home screen, a pop up comes up listing widgets, shortcuts, folders and wallpaper which is now replaced by wallpaper only. However, widgets can be still added after pressing menu key and selecting widgets tab. Folders can created by just dragging and dropping apps on one another.
But the most shocking part for me is that there is no way I can create a shortcut or at least I didn't find. I had pinned "catch" notes on my home screen in gingerbread which is not working anymore although the option is still there in the catch application.
Using Astro File Manager, I used to create my important folders from sd card as shortcuts on my home screen which is also not working any more. Is there anything I am missing out or ICS for motorola atrix 2 doesn't have that feature?
If this is a repeat of another thread then i apologize .i need a video player that will play mp4 video in full resolution for the droid.m coming from bb.can you help me with this.i don't care if it is free or not.

I have a Motorola Atrix 4G, manufacturer ROM, not rooted, Android 2.2.2.This morning the phone alarm went off as usual (Ben Harper) but then suddenly stopped.Checked it, no mp3 avalable anymore but in fact, the whole (internal) 'sdcard' folder had disappeared.
Re-booted: a new sdcard was created. All my personal files have disappeared.how to recover the previous 'sdcard' folder?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI shot a video a few days ago on my new Evo phone. I was holding the phone vertically. It never occurred to me that I was supposed to hold it horizontally. What ended up happening is that when I put the memory card from my phone into the computer, it's showing the video sideways. I need to flip it 90 degrees before I send it out or post it anywhere. I tried to send it to Windows Movie Maker but as it's a 3gp format, it won't take it. I tried searching through my Quicktime (not Quicktime pro) and there's nothing I can find to flip it 90 degrees. After a lot of searching, I found a bunch of sites that tell me to convert the video to a format that Windows Movie Maker accepts and then flip it the 90 degrees in WMM. I'm a little over my head at this point. I don't know how to convert this file and I don't want to download programs that won't work. Anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been using your JB builds on my Motorola Atrix mb 860. When ever I call or a call comes, I can't hear anything unless I'm on speakerphone or I plug in Bluetooth headphones. I even replaced ear speaker flex cable. But still I am unable to hear anything.
I already did the factory reset, wiped cache/system and data and also tried different JB flavors for atrix and also stable CM 7.2 on the sdcard.
I recently used chainfire3d so you know i thought it would work so i tried it out and it said it would reboot the device, then it was going to reboot but it just stayed there nothing else happened. Did i break my phone because i already tried MythTeams stock frimware recovery and it still stuck. Also I am trying to use RSD to fix it but im having no luck so far

The recording seems to stop as soon as the screen times out and the phone enters what I think is sleep mode. I've noticed that some apps(Tokasiki's Voice Recorder, for one) don't seem to have this problem on this phone(Motorola Atrix) and continue to record audio long after the screen has faded to black. I've tried using a partial wake lock but it doesn't seem to maintain the recording. Should I use AudioRecord instead of MediaRecorder? Voice Recorder seems to get by without using AudioRecord.

I've tried rebooting, full wipe and re flash but I don't know what the problem is..I've googled for the problem but I haven't found anything as of yet.
I just got my new galaxy note (i717) on friday (immediately flashing it with OnlyOne beta 2 (ics)) and I would like to use it for a bit of podcasting using the front camera to record myself while I read text from some teleprompter software.
I can record video from the front camera just fine, and it actually comes out a bit higher quality than I expected even, but for the life of me, when i hit the record button and then switch away from the camera app to the prompter app, it gives me an audio notification that the camera has stopped recording.
is there prompter software that has an integrated video recorder? (that'd be pretty sweet imho) or better, some way to record video while another app (that's not particularly resource intensive) is in use? - I don't mind trimming and cutting the video together (there are actually some pretty decent editing tools for android i've found) but I can't figure out a way to record and prompt at the same time...
I wanted to download a movie to the phone but I am not sure if there is a player on it.

View 11 Replies View Relatedone problem i just noticed since i installed LFY1.4 with the smoked theme.. when i try to play videos that i recorded on my phone previous to rooting, and rom'ing i get an error "sorry this video cannot be played". it only happens with certain videos, not all of them. not sure if it has to do with the rom, the theme, launcher pro, rooting or what.. wondering if anyone else has had this problem, or anything similar?

However, I am always running out of space on my internal storage...but I don't know why.
I am rooted with with both Titanium & App2SD installed.
I have very few apps installed and nearly all of them have been moved to my SD card. Yet I only have around 40mb free on my internal storage (from a total of 400mb).
I cannot figure out what is using all of my internal space. I have looked in Titanium at apps using my interal storage and it does not even come close to the 350mb it says I am using.
What could be using all this space and is there any way to find out for sure?
TempMon is reporting 107 F + while streaming. That's battery temp, of course.CPU is significantly hotter than that.I've tried clocks from 700 up to 1100 and can't get it any cooler.at 700 its barely responsive enough to be functional.at 1200 it reboots.

View 2 Replies View RelatedNot a single type of video is playable on my phone. Youtube.com, YouTube App, videos from my phone's SD Card, videos I recorded with this phone a few days ago, nothing. Videos I was able to watch on my phone before also suddenly stopped working. I also can't record videos.
On the other hand, my camera works perfectly, so does the music player.
I haven't added any weird adds or anything of the sort. I've attached screenshots of my "About Phone" info, and two other screenshots of what it looks like when I try to play videos on the YouTube App and videos that are directly saved on my phone.

Since then, I've done the following:
-Rebooted the system and re-installed the latest Kernel version.
-Uninstalled and re-installed YouTube.
-Installed MX Player. This solved the problem I faced while playing videos from my phone, but still can't watch videos from YouTube.
-Went through my Apps and found that I'm missing the Video Player app (click picture)
-Factory Reset to no avail.
I've had this phone for about a month and a half, and installed ICS on it on day 3 or so. Ever since, the videos were working properly, lagless and flawlessly, just a few days ago problems started appearing.
Perhaps the Video Player apk would do? I can't seem to find it anywhere for my phone.
I'm looking for a browser that can play a embedded WMV video. I bought a ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T for my wife and she wants to use it to do her study modules and as soon as you click on the link to play the video it just doesn't and just looks like a plugin is missing. I have yet to find anything that will work. A standalone video player is not what I need. It has to be a browser that supports the WMV format I think.
