I updated my Evo to 2.2 when it came out, but I just noticed something about flash in the browser: I cannot interact with any of the buttons. For example, when browsing the youtube full site in the browser (not the youtube app) you can hit the button to turn on captions, and hit the other button to switch to HD resolution. For some reason, I cant figure out how to hit those buttons. I tried zooming in all the way, and I hit the resolution button, and the resolutions popped up for about .5 of a second, then went away, its too quick to hit it. I tried double tapping the flash to make it full screen and that doesnt work either. The only thing I can get to work is the slider bar, which seems to work fine.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am writing a small video player application. It's working fine. The video is visible on the device, but the app name is visible on the top of the video.
I want to avoid this (complete full screen mode, there is no appname only video should be there).
Can you please tell me how to achieve this?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI just got home with my new Droid and I am wondering if I got a lemon. My screen seems very dim. I didnt really notice it in the store, however compared to my Droid Eris (which is at about 30% screen brightness) the Droid looks much dimmer, even when its at 100% brightness. The only other thing I can think of is that its the Invisible Shield the guy at Best Buy applied for free. Do they dim the screen at all? With my Eris I can literally have it turned to 25% brightness and it seems brighter than the Droid at full. As does my iPod touch. It has to be turned down to 50% or so before it matches the Droid at full. I have turned off auto brightness and manually turned up the Droid to full.

Is there a setting or an app to make incoming Pictures assigned to contacts take up the whole screen (like on the iPhone)? The picture just seems so small to me and i would like it bigger. I searched on the forums and in the Android Market and failed to find anything.Any ideas?
View 8 Replies View RelatedTempMon is reporting 107 F + while streaming. That's battery temp, of course.CPU is significantly hotter than that.I've tried clocks from 700 up to 1100 and can't get it any cooler.at 700 its barely responsive enough to be functional.at 1200 it reboots.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI made a boot animation. Not great but I am trying. Anyway, I can get it to look right when it is set to the center of the screen (480x427 not full screen) but when I set it to 480x854 (full screen) it gets stretched out. I was told the png files had to be 256x256 so I don't know what I could change so it doesn't look stretched. My animation looks like my avatar that I made and it looks just like it does here before applying the 854 settings. After seeing a lot of other custom boots mine isn't looking so good.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm not a software developer, but I have done enough reading online to get the Android SDK, Eclipse, and the necessary downloads to get it all working.
I am able to capture device screenshots using the DDMS, but I need to capture full motion video of the system OS and apps for an Android TV commercial.
So far I've called the manufacturer and several software guys, but haven't had any luck. I've even tried the HDMI out, but it's not pixel accurate, which is very important.
There has to be a way to do this, since the apps are featured in other commercials and videos, and I don't believe that the only way to do it is to film the device's screen.
No matter how complex the answer and solution to this might be, I'd love to find out. Even if it means bringing on someone to execute it.
It needs to be at least a 20-30 fps capture.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm new to Android, but I've had smartphones.I've had an iphone and win mobile phones. I'm not sure I'm understanding how to import video to the droid. I tried just making a folder on the sd card and pasting a video(mp4) in it, but the droid doesn't recognize it.Then i used Motorola media link, it worked, but the picture quality didn't seem as sharp on the droid than it did on the iphone(didn't compress it when i transferred) and can't seem to figure out how to expand video to fill screen.
