I am developing in android and I would like an input field for numbers, where the user can select the correct number using the plus sign at the top and the minus sign at the bottom of the input field. I know this works for date picker. Is there some property or something similar to make this available for any integer number input field?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI need to dial a number in Germany which would be +49... now since i can't make that call with my verizon plan i bought a CBS phone card. so i hit 1 for English, 2 for international etc. then when i need to enter the number, on my old phone it worked fine by holding 0 for a while to dial +49. but for some reason that doesn't work with the droid. any ideas?

It does show an @ sign when i get pop mail via Gmail however it doesn't show up as a number on the mail icon. only when i get a true Gmail email does it show up as a number on the icon. once i go into mail and preview the email (pop) it will show as a number on the icon. any ideas?

View 5 Replies View RelatedIve been searching for this for a few days and Ive got nothing so hopefully someone knows. Is there any way to call a number that's been sent via sms? Ex: My wife sent me a text containing the phone number of a client. On previous phones, that number would be a hyperlink and when I clicked it the dialer would open with that number pre-inserted. It seems on the moment I have to memorize the number, go to the dialer and input it in. This isn't so easy when your driving or doing much of anything.
Is there any app or setting that allows me to automatically input the number into the dialer? I tried copy and paste but you cant paste into the dialer.
On my Samsung Galaxy Portal/Lite/Spica's GMail app my inbox always shows a minus figure. E.g. the top of the screen will say Inbox (-2). What does this means and how can I get it back to 0 when I have no unread mail and into a positive number when I do have unread mail. All the mail in the app is visible via the "proper" Gmail on a PC and vice versa.

When I am writing a message for example : The price is $350 android automatically makes the sentence format as: The price is$ 350.... then I have to go back and space the $ sign away from the previous letter and then delete the space between the $ sign and the following number. The Eris allows people to change to XT9 input, something I really like. I tried to find something similar on the Motorola Droid and couldn't find any place to change it. Is this option available on the Motorola phone? If I can't change it, that makes two things which bother me about the Motorola phone-the inability to NOT get the mobile versions of web pages as the default and now this texting issue.

So now I only have my droid there in lies the problem what is the easiest way to get a house address inputted, the voice input never gets the correct address unless you are doing one liners. If I try to spell it out before I finish it times out, and I can't seem to consistently input it through the search bar on the home screen if I do it will only show a map of the place and does not offer the navigation to the place what am i doing wrong. All that is necessary is standard car/wall adapter that accepts USB input. Then, any micr-USB cable will suffice. A quick look at different sites has the chargers for ~$10 and a micro-USB cable is only ~$3.
