Motorola Droid :: Can't Sign Into Google After Radio Update
Mar 31, 2010Just did the radio update.Reactivated, *228, reset phone a couple times, but still cant sign into google. I'm on UD 9.0 is that the issue?

Motorola Droid :: Google Sign-in Failure Regularly Since 2.2
Aug 31, 2010i get this at least once or twice per day since updating the phone to 2.2 via OTA, and sometimes it's more like 5 or 6. it doesn't seem like it's a rampant problem based upon the latest threads here. anyone else have this issue? i figure doing a factory reset is my best bet but just wanted to get some feedback first.

Jan 18, 2010I am all of the sudden having a problem with the Droid Eris.I keep getting a pop up Google sign in on the screen.the username shown on the screen has gmail address(part of it is my address but at the end of my address there are 2 extra numbers added to it (i do not have numbers in my address (do not know how it got there) there is no way to change the address on the pop up, but i try to put in my password that I have and it does not work.I can access gmail from a computer with my correct gmail address and PW.Is there any way to get in contact with Google (haha) and Verizon says it is Googles problem.I want to try to get back my correct gmail addy on the Eris, if anyone can help ? All I can do is talk and receive text and go on web, If I try to go onto Menu, Market it asks me the PW.

May 24, 2010I've been having a problem with my YouTube account ever since I did the OS update from Verizon. I keep getting a notification that says there was a sign-in error with it. When I click on it, it prompts for my password. I enter my password, and occasionally there's a Captcha to enter, but mostly there isn't. Either way, it doesn't accept it, and keeps prompting me to log in. I turned off the sync options for that account in the settings menu, but it still happens, just not as often. YouTube works just fine, as do all my e-mail accounts and the like.

Mar 10, 2010Did wife's Eris to 2.1 tonite. She was on PRL 51807, prior to 2.1 after 2.1 and *228 option 1 and 2 she was back down to the 51776 that I am currently on. Prior to the *228 she didn't have the sign in error, tested with reboot and also airplane only mode. LOL seems to be the error. Don't know how to get it back up to the 51807.

Some slightly worrying news to bring to Motorola DROID owners on Verizon now, as it has been reported that the Google Earth application is no longer available once you upgrade to the 2.1 Android OS. According to this report from MobileBurn, youll no longer be able to find the application in the Android marketplace once you update, so if you are a regular user of Google Earth, you may want to put off updating until we find out more details. We will update this article once we hear more. It will be very disappointing if that is the case though. It could just be a temporary issue that Google and/or Verizon Wireless are already working on.

Mar 24, 2010Just noticed this morning that google voice has been updated. Obviously i updated and then checked the change long. Apparently version 0.3.2 gives instant sms delivery. Sweeeeet.. So i am finally able to remove my setting to forward sms to email so that i get it immediately !! Now if they would start doing mms i can cancel my verizon txting totally..

I tried yesterday and got an error that I think said something about a problem w/ the service pack.I tried probably 5x last night to install it from the market but didn't have any luck. Sep 2, 2010I keep having to input CAPCHA.My phone frequently has a pop-up box that stops me from doing anything. It says "Google Sign-in" and it has the CATCHA box.I have a HTC EVO 4G, with an aftermarket battery. I am on wifi a lot as I live in an area with a lot of free wifi and I have wifi at home and at my girlfriend's house. I have had Android since the Dev G1, but never had this with the G1.The problem is, I have to enter it several times a day, and it only seems to pop up when I try to do something, like answer the phone or type a text message. Since I have no keyboard, these arbitrary sequences of letters are a real pain. About half the time it makes me enter two sequences of letters-I do not know if that means I did the first set wrong or what, but I have to do CAPTCHA every day.
