Sep 17, 2010I sign in to youtube just fine and it works great and can upload fine but i keep get a sign in error in the notification bar and it wont take any password.

Aug 17, 2010I get a sign in error everytime i log in to my youtube. Youtube logs in just fine and let's me into my accout but the phone keeps sending me a error message and wants me to log in but wont take my password. Why?

Jul 20, 2010Can watch Videos just fine, but every hour or so get a notification saying, "Sign-in error for insertname@youtube.com" ! I use the same password as I do when logging into youtube on my notebook and no issues, yet every time I try to log into youtube on my Eris, It's not a big deal as I can still view videos, it's just annoying having to delete it from my notifications every 2 hours ! Anyone else with this issue or a fix ?

May 24, 2010I've been having a problem with my YouTube account ever since I did the OS update from Verizon. I keep getting a notification that says there was a sign-in error with it. When I click on it, it prompts for my password. I enter my password, and occasionally there's a Captcha to enter, but mostly there isn't. Either way, it doesn't accept it, and keeps prompting me to log in. I turned off the sync options for that account in the settings menu, but it still happens, just not as often. YouTube works just fine, as do all my e-mail accounts and the like.

Sep 25, 2010I have a 2 minute 720P video taken with the droidx that i am trying to upload to my youtube account. The video is 140mb in size. i get the following message when I try to upload the video to youtube via the share option in Gallery "You can not upload a video larger than 1GB".
I get this message if I'm connected to wifi or not. The video is only 140mb in size!
Any one else getting this message?
I was getting this message prior to upgrading to 2.2 and was hoping that the 2.2 would fix it, but it didn't.
HTC Droid Eris :: Google Sign In Error Fixed
Mar 10, 2010Did wife's Eris to 2.1 tonite. She was on PRL 51807, prior to 2.1 after 2.1 and *228 option 1 and 2 she was back down to the 51776 that I am currently on. Prior to the *228 she didn't have the sign in error, tested with reboot and also airplane only mode. LOL seems to be the error. Don't know how to get it back up to the 51807.

This has been going on for the past week (only had the Epic for two weeks now) and I can't sign into the YouTube app and I get an error saying that I can't sign into my YouTube account. Jul 6, 2010I just got my HTC Desire today, and have been learning how it works etc, but I just tried to do a google search, use youtube and sign into facebook using the facebook app and widget, and nothing will work. I can use FriendStream fine.. I updated my facebook status with it and it's showing updates as they happen. I'm using my home wifi and the phone says it's connected with signal strength 'good'. Can anyone explain what the problem might be? I haven't tried 3g yet, if that matters at all. (not entirely sure how I'd switch to it for testing purposes other than going outside out of wifi range)

Dec 24, 2009When I'm at home, my WiFi speed is typically almost 3m DOWN and 700k UP. (Lame compared to my speeds at work) While my 3G is typically about HALF of those speeds. But here's where my confusion sets in. When I watch a YouTube video with the stock YouTube app, videos buffer faster and/or play MUCH better when using 3G. I'm wondering if the 3G connection is utilizing some kind of compression that allows this?

May 5, 2010I've had my Sprint Hero for around 4 months now, it is not rooted, running stock 1.5.I was trying to check the marketplace for any updates to my apps and it brought me to the set up google account screen.I've tried signing in and It tells me that there was an error on sign in and my SIM card might not be provisioned for data. Obviously as a Sprint customer I don't have a SIM card, is there anything I can do to get things working again?

Oct 25, 2010Interesting question for you all. I'm running a rooted Eris on xtrROM 4.6 with all the little bells and whistles. No apps that are out of the ordinary. Just a moment ago I had the little warning triangle with the sign through it. I opened it up and it was a message that said google sign in error.It gave me one of those stylized arrangements of letters that i had to punch to make sure I wasn't a bot. Generally stuff like that makes me fairly wary so I closed it and opened both my gmail folder and google calendar (which I just started using today actually). Both worked fine. Was this a fishing scam of some kind? I've been reading some reports of how fishing scams are coming over through SMS and I've gotten some of the more obvious ones for walmart cards etc, but this one was new to me.

Nov 5, 2010I just installed the latest version of Skyraider (sense) and everything seems to be working ok except that I cant sign into my google account.In the notifications it gives me the sign in error and when I select it I am prompted to enter the characters in the random picture it shows.I do this and it just repeats, over and over again. I can't get past this. Also, I know that I am not messing it up.

Apr 29, 2010i have begun receiving a "Sign-in error" for the main Gmail account I set up the phone with. It stays in the notifications bar and if I try to input the password it authenticates forever then tells me the password or login are incorrect.Weirdest part though is I can still access the account and it appears i am still receiving push notices.

Android :: Youtube API - SAXParser Error
Jul 22, 2010I have been trying to use the youtube APIs on the Android Platform (version 1.6) and have been stuck with the SAXParser whenever I send out a query from the following line of code:
VideoFeed videoFeed = service.query(query, VideoFeed.class);
I initially had errors with the SAXParser for which I applied the patch suggested here:

After this, the previous error that I had which called an ExternalParametersEntities exception was resolved but I now get a Verify Error:
com.google.gdata.util.common.xml.parsing.SecureGenericXMLFactory $SecureSAXParserFactory
Would anyone know how to get around this error? Is there any other way to use the youtube API query on an Android platform?
Android :: Get Random "Google Sign In Error" Notifications?
Aug 20, 2010I've got a couple of questions that have been driving me nuts since I got my Moto Droid. I was going to post in the Droid forum, but I someone in my family has a LG Ally and is having the same problems.
First, does anyone else get random "Google Sign In Error" notifications which prompt you to type in one of those random jumbled words that everyone uses to prove your not some bot or something? The two Android phones I know do this. I searched the forum and found a bunch of stuff to do with youtube accounts...neither of us have youtube accounts connected to the phone. It is a pain in the ass, and it often makes me do more than one. Only thing that really really bothers me about my awesome phone. it's nonsense that it does this. I have two gmail accounts if that matters, but the family member has a gmail account and an aol account....so yeah...
Second...I'm using Launcher Pro as a home replacement, annnnnd sometimes after I've been searching the web or using some application when I press the home button it appears to be restarting Launcher Pro? It takes 10-20 seconds for everything to load up (clocks, widgets, etc). I assume it does this when the phone needs more resources or something? Is this normal? Anything I can do to make this happen less often?
HTC EVO 4G :: YouTube - Video Stopped And Give Error
Nov 9, 2010I am having trouble playing YouTube videos on the application and the website. It will play about half the video and then it says there was an error and it just stops. It does it on the market app and when using the browser. Does it on WiFi and 3g. I've true hard rests reinstalling to no avail. It pretty bad I have to use my wifes hero to watch YouTube videos. Anyone know whats going on? I can play short videos like under 5 minutes ok but any longer and its like the phone stops downloading and when the video catches up to that point I get error. I am still in my 30 day window so is it my phone or is everyone having problems? Thanks

Apr 4, 2010just wondering if anyone is having the same issues as me with YouTube.The audio and video with the built in app is slightly off sync, with the picture moving very slightly ahead of the audio.There is an issue with subscriptions where a few selected channels show 0 videos, and going in results in all videos bringing up an error Viewing the site through the web browser is great, with subscriptions showing fine with new videos, but the flash player is not up to speed and this time the picture is quite far ahead of the video, to the point where it isn't really watchable. I don't think its just me, and I hope there might be an update soon as I can't find a workaround.

Jul 8, 2010I just read an article about the improved youtube mobile site at m.youtube.com. I have used the youtube app since the ota that was sent out to fix it and downloaded an apk that allowed it to always default to HQ rather than having to change it each time. But I just tried out the mobile site and it is blazingly fast compared to the app. The only thing that would make me not use this over the app is that I didn't see a way to watch the videos in HQ. Am I missing something? Does anyone else have a preference for the mobile site over the app or vice versa?
