I get a strange farting noise when the call is first placed and randomly during the call. When it happens neither party can hear eachother. The car is a 2006 BMW 525xi and I never had it with 4 different Eris', 2 BB's and an old Motorola flip phone.

I have 2 other corporate accounts synced up and working great. However, the new company that I now have an email with is giving me some issues. I can create an account without error, but there is no folders and blank inbox. I get no errors. Any ideas? Anything special with Exchange 2010? This is the first 2010 that I have tried to sync my phone to.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to install a rom (Liquid Frozen Yogurt) onto my Motorola Droid. I rebooted, came back and there is a strange symbol on the screen. It is a triangle with an exclamation mark in the middle, and it is standing upright staring down at my phone laying flat. I'm not sure if it's working away, or if this is some problem.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am having some problems with the default messaging app. Everything was fine until I downloaded Handcent. After playing around with Handcent, I decided to remove it. After I did, when I tried to send a picture with the default client, it would appear to send properly, but the person I was sending too would get a notification that the attached media was 'too large' or something similar, and not be able to view the picture Finally, I reinstalled Handcent and could send pictures from it just fine. I noticed that Handcent asks to resize pictures when sending where the default app does not. I could not find any settings for 'resize' in the default app. I figured I just had a bug with the default client, and continued to use Handcent with no problems. I would periodically check the default client, with the same results.Finally, after several days of using nothing BUT Handcent, I decided to give the default app another try, and now I find that it is working again with no problems, and in fact, the pictures I send with it that are apparently NOT resized look better on the phones I send them to than the ones I send with Handcent. Has anyone else had a problem like this, or know what could be going on?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI could swear I had de-selected a "noise cancellation" option in a menue somewhere in an effort to get my Droid to sound better during calls, but i can't for my life find it. (-Was I tripping?) Since then, I've removed my cheap-ass made-by-not-Motorola case after realizing (via this forum) that it was covering up the exterior microphone. Calls still sound like crap to me, but at least people can hear me better, I think. Anyway, if there's the noise cancellation opt and I wasn't dreaming or severely confused, can someone point me in the direction of that?

View 4 Replies View Relatedjust wondering if this is normal or not, someone told me it is normal for the droid.for instance - when your on the home screen and you hold the camera button down, it'll make about 3-clicks when starting up. it also makes the clicking noise when it is focusing before taking the photo. the most noticable is when using an app like shopsavvy or barcode scanner are these apps supposed to be focusing back and forth non stop? and if so, is it 'normal' for that clicking noise to go non-stop while it is focusing back and forth?
My droid is not making the droid noise on the start up anymore. does anyone else have this problem and how is it fixed?
View 3 Replies View Relatedon my droid x whenever the phone vibrates either when im clicking something, getting a text or a incoming call. the phone makes a buzz noise. also i noticed the phone does not vibrate as heavy as it should and is not as noticable when its in your pocket with the sound off. i used a droid 1 and a droid incredible in the past and both of those the vibration was quieter. so im wondering are everyones droid x like this or does mine just have a defective vibration mechanism or something?

However can someone tell me how to turn off the clicking noise when I press a letter? I like the vibrate to let me know that I touched it but could do without the Storm-esque click. There was one more but I forgot it at the moment.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIf you have your droid closed, and you press the down firmly where the search button is located does your droid make a clicking noise like its hitting the top of the keyboard? when i push the right side of the phone firmly it makes the noise and feels looser. is this because i took the plastic off the back of the keyboard?
if i want to exchange at best buy should i use their insurance? if i do exchange should i just tell them it reboots in case they dont want to replace because of this noise? Or is this noise/touching normal?

Buzz again and Droid! Again. So I think I got two texts when I have one. I don't have handecent or anything. this only started happening after the 2.1 update. the beep sounds like i am getting another call. also phone calls seem to be draining battery rather fast lately, a three minute phone call will drop my battery from half to yellow.
So when i turn the camera on, on the Droid it makes this sort of loud noise coming right from the lens it seems to only make it when it has to focus or when it turns on or even when coming back from previewing a picture. Does any one else seem to have that problem?
View 11 Replies View RelatedWhen I first got my Droid, I would often hear a tea kettle going off in the background with pitch changes, like a plane flying over head. Needless to say, I wasn't going to put up with the distracting noises, especially with a brand new phone. So, Verizon replaced the device. Four months later, I'm still having the same problem. The problem isn't that bad but I should hear such noises, regardless. Verizon says they haven't heard of such an issue but will replace the device again. Has anyone else noticed these noises while on a phone call?
View 19 Replies View RelatedMy wife has a Droid2 and when she uses the speaker phone function, things sound fine on her end, but for the caller on the other end, there is an unbearably loud noise of them speaking. For instance, when I call her and she has me on speaker, I can hear myself speaking super loud coming out of her phone. I can't even concentrate to get my sentence out. Has anyone else had this problem or heard of it? She is using a hard snap on case from Verizon as well, not sure if it could be the sound bouncing of that or something?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy wife was trying to make a call last night but wasn't getting any audio. She tried a couple times but with the same result. I told her to reboot and see if that clears it up.
Well first indications of an issue was during the start up it went to the screen with the little Android guy poking his head up from the bottom but the one on the side never came. Then it just looped around and did the same thing. The little droid popped up then disappeared.
So I pulled the battery and powered up again. It did the same thing for about 3-5 minutes then finally came up. I get to the home screen and there's a headset icon flashing in the notification bar. It was confusing why it was showing that when there was no headset attached. I tried making a call but still no audio. I plugged headphones in and the icon changed to headphones and I got audio. When I unplugged it went right back to the headset icon with no audio...
I played with it for awhile, going through settings trying to see if there was something set that was hosing it up. Couldn't find anything. I decided to try some of the audio streamers (Last.FM, Pandora) to see if I could ferret out the issue. Last.FM produced no audio. But when I fired up Pandora, the headset icon went away and audio started coming out. I verified you could get 2-way audio on a call and everything seemed normal.
My wife has been having a very strange problem with her Eris lately. She uses her phone as her alarm and when it goes off in the morning and she picks it up to snooze or dismiss the options simply won't be on the screen, it will be her default home screen. The alarm is still going off though so she touches the Sense clock widget to turn off the alarm manually but as soon as she touches the widget the screen starts to scroll to the left and will continue to do so for a few moments and will eventually stop. She only seems to have this auto-scrolling problem when dealing with her alarm going off. Any suggestions?

I turned off Audible Touch Tones, Hepatic Feedback & Audible Selection..... It only makes this noise when I'm typing (ie. texts, emails & dialing).
